  1. earbuds and headphones. For whatever reason, they never really break on me, then I have a good wired pair for my amp, and a good wireless pair for my phone, but I will lose my wireless ones for about a month or so, buy a new set, then find the old ones. Not to mention all the ones that used to come with apple products, both the 3.5mm and the lightening cable kinds.

  2. Should have checked here first. Decided I would swing by Dallas because I was out. Got there at 9 and the 45 watches they had already gave out vouchers for. Cops here said there were at least 600 people

That's not the attitude you took in your OP.

    To each their own.

I just don't get it. Personally I don't see myself ever having even an interest in one, but yes, to each their own. I'll leave it at that

  4. I don't even know what to think about this thread. A douche bag I know just dropped $3,500 on a yoder, wtf are you guys doing? I love tending a stick burner, BGEs are good for when you can't stay with the pit all day, but pellet grills? Where do you have to mail your balls when you get one?

    Couple questions on design:

Is there a specific area the equipment needs to go? Closer to deep end? Closer to spa?

Is there a preference to having spa on deep end or on shallow?

Decking options - concrete or travertine? Those two seem to be the only ones. Am I missing anything?

Tumbled marble pavers are another one I looked at. a bit more than travertine.

  6. Wendy's used to be in the regular rotation for me, but lately it seems to have really gone down hill. I wonder if we are on the brink of some of the smaller fast food chains going the way of Quiznos.

Got my latest (3rd) pair of Maida's today just in time for the rodeo and also a funeral I have to attend this weekend. Chocolate French calf. Perfect fit just like the first two pair. Love Sal. Everyone go give him money and wait 4-6 months. You won't be disappointed.

I had a friend at UT, Blake Maida who I think might be from this family. He went on to be an oral surgeon though.

  8. I know I'm a shitty player because all of this confuses the shit out of me. I have a fender mustang amp that has a couple of preset tones and that is good enough for me. 95% of the time I'm strumming an acoustic. Maybe one day I'll go down the electric rabbit hole, but I have avoided it thus far.

This right here. The handle is missing from the rope that is attached to my automatic garage door opener for manual release. When the garage door is up the rope hangs (used to) right at the vehicle door space.

Kind of on you for not shortening the pull string with a little knot. That is very early in the steps of new garage or vehicle ownership

  10. Watched Countdown the other day with the wife. It was pretty bad. Pro tip though, after your significant other goes to bed, there is a countdown app in the apple store you can download and put on her phone. That was pretty entertaining watching her freak out to that the next morning.

  11. My friend from high school married a collegiate golfer, and their kid has golf in his blood. Little fucker is 6 and got his first hole in one two days ago. 9 iron from 83 yards. I've been playing 27 years now and don't have one.
