Crazy stuff... those seats are insane.

But what's up with the shit-tacular engine area?
    Almost no attention paid there.

Also not quite sure how this is driven, I see no pedals. Is it hand operated with the shifter knobs on the left? Butt plug looking switches to the right of the wheel?

Do you have Cat5 drops throughout your house that are routed back to where your router comes in?

I've got Cat5 throughout, but the damn things are a mess, so basically, I've got the modem in the closet, connected to the cat5 I found that runs to the office, and the wireless router then in the office. Would love to map all those wires, but its going to be a pain in the ass since each room has two cat5s running to it, and I guess I would just have to keep running around my house with my laptop plugging in different wires to see which wire runs where.

  3. I am looking now, and with Prime day coming up, Amazon has the eero 6 with one router and two extenders on sale for $181

and the eero pro with one pro and two beacons on sale for $191

What is the difference between these, and which should I go with? I don't need anything fancy, I just want good coverage with minimal hassle. I am sick of having to hear "the internet is out again" from the wife just because the signal doesn't work in every corner of the house.

I did get caught in a hailstorm, but there was no conventional damage from rounded pellets.  However, a nearly football sized (length and width if not volume) chunk of ice came out of the sky and landed on my aluminum hood and made a single large dent in it.

I had a dumbass friend in high school with an older truck. After a hail storm came through town, he took a hammer to his truck, and tried to file a claim to pocket the insurance money and drive it around with the dents. The adjuster took one look at it, said "hail doesn't leave scratches in the dents dumbass" and walked away. He's probably lucky the insurance company didn't pursue a fraud case against him.

  5. Have a Marantz SR-7008 that is starting to crap out on me. 6 months ago or so, I had to have the HDMI board replaced in it, and now, it is not sending a signal to my sub. Do I continue to get this thing fixed, or do I bite the bullet and get something new? It worked great for about 7 years before shit started breaking, and if I can fix it for a decent price, I prefer to do that, but I don't want to get into a situation where I'm having to have something fixed every few months. I'm gonna call my repair guy tomorrow and see if he has any idea the cost to repair it, but if I do decide to go the route of getting something new, what should I be getting? My projector is only HD, so I don't need 4K yet, but it would be nice to have if I ever do get a new projector, and I'm running a Klipsch 7.1 surround system, with an SVS-1000 powered sub.

Thoughts/suggestions? Has anyone had this type of issue before and knows some way I might be able to fix it myself?

  6. Well, I am now in the market for a replacement driver side mirror for my 2017 F-150. Some bumblefuck in a dodge with the trailer mirrors extended all the way out into my lane (not towing anything) hit my mirror with his both going opposite directions at about 45 mph, shattering my mirror. I turned around to find him, but never did see him again. It could have been worse I guess, but damn I didn't want to have to deal with replacing that mirror. Also, my damned sunroof track broke, but I was able to get it to close again so I don't get rained on at the moment. Wish I didn't have the sunroof, but it seems if you get leather, you get a sunroof these days.

What truck if you don’t mind me asking

I've got 35x12.50 Ridge Grapplers on my 2017 F-150. They have 37K miles on them and still have a ton of tread left. I love these tires.

  8. well, we went ahead and took the normal place. Booked Winter Park. I've been there a dozen times, but my wife and kids have never been. This will be both my kids first ski trip, so I'm looking forward to long runs in the morning, especially if I can get some powder, and spending the late days being that dad that is helping his kids down the greens, while video taping.

  9. about to go shit in my bidet toilet. love it, and will never not have one again. Getting them for the rest of the house and the office is an uphill climb, but one I'm willing to fight for.

Kind of matters when spring break is. April or March. We've had some great days in late March/early April  in Utah, and CO.   It's just a bit of a crap shoot.

Further north west is probably the safest bet, but the resorts aren't always as kid friendly it seems (smaller, more spartan).

This would be the week of March 8th. Looking at Steamboat, but still weighing the COVID implications.

  12. Am considering a spring break ski trip, the first for my kids.

    A) am I nuts, and we should just go camping somewhere

    B) if I'm not nuts, what mountains have good snow, good deals, and a COVID responsible ski school? Neither of my kids have skied before.
