  1. Friend of mine in the OKC area sent me this yesterday.
  2. Poster on the softball thread who has been around the game for a while says it's pretty common around the game for seniors to leave their spikes at home plate after their last game, sometimes pointing to their position. Or for pitchers to leave them on the rubber.
  3. It's less about remembering and more about knowing your surrounding fellow assholes community. Who would do such a thing? 😁
  4. Some of you have been around long enough that you should absolutely know the answers to these questions.
  5. Didn't he come on as a sub against Crystal Palace?
  6. Lol who the fuck has A&M ranked 11 and what other "who the fuck" has Tech ranked 11?
  7. I'm a UTRGV alum. I want them to actually have a chance at advancing...
  8. I really hope UTRGV doesn't end up in the Texas regional
  9. Don't forget about

  12. I posted in the transfer thread, but we follow Troy pretty closely since my wife is an alum. He was the backup to start the season. Came in for the last 5 games after the starter got hurt, so the stats you see reported are only for 5 games. During those 5 games he was...ok I guess? I thought he played better than the original starter, (he went 3-2, which was 3 of our 4 wins on the season) but the offense was hard to watch at times. But he definitely had some good moments. I thought he might have had a chance at starting next year
  13. Long snapper specific rankings https://www.kohlskicking.com/national-player-ratings/long-snappers/2026
  14. My wife is a Troy grad, so we follow them pretty closely too. Head coach was previously Notre Dame's OC. This guy came in for the final five games after the starter got hurt. (So the stats noted are for those 5 games). He was.... Ok I guess? I thought he played better than the original starter. He went 3-2 (3 of our 4 wins), but gosh, offense was miserable to watch at times. Had a tendency to play hero ball. But definitely had some good moments. 4 TDs against Louisiana, 50 points against So Miss
  15. Quote from Ange today, from The Athletic Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou says James Maddison’s knee injury is “not looking promising” after he missed Sunday’s draw with West Ham United. “No, it doesn’t look great, but we’re just waiting for further information,” the Spurs head coach said. “We’ll just wait and see. We’ll probably get some clarity tomorrow. But fair to say, it’s not looking promising. But I’ll just wait and see.” Solanke: “Dom’s improving, we obviously left him out today, but the medical team are pretty confident he should be OK for Thursday,” Postecoglou added. Sonny: Captain Son Heung-min has also missed his side’s last six games with a foot injury, and Postecoglou said on Friday the forward was making positive progress ahead of Thursday’s second leg, but was yet to return to full training.
  16. Good, because fuck that guy. Edit: Sorry, /cr, but also in football, also fuck that guy.
  17. I didn't realize he just resigned a new contract with the club this week too. He's now signed on until 2031 Quotes from the Athletic: Maddison is "a concern" and will have a scan on his knee this week. Solanke doubtful for West Ham but "we don't think it's anything serious". Sonny "progressing... We'll see how he's feeling by Thursday"
  18. Bergvall done for the season
  19. DBU has had a good year (currently RPI #22) but UTRGV schwacked them earlier in the year 15-5. And of course, UTRGV got run ruled by Texas. Edit: just looked up the box score for that game between UTRGV and DBU. UTRGV was down 5-4 going into the 9th and scored 11! in the top 9th to win 15-5.
