  4. With roster changes coming, maybe he wouldn't have made the 34 man cut for a baseball scholarship but would make the 105 man cut for a football scholarship?
  5. Posted in the Olympics thread Thought it was pretty cool to see yesterday, they did a feature on American swimmer Reagen Smith (silver, 200m backstroke I think) before the race and showed videos of her training with Bowman while he was wearing Longhorn gear. Makes for great exposure I reckon.
  6. He's the private coach for several American swimmers and he's the head coach for the French national team... so that's a lot lol Also, pretty cool to see... they did a feature on American swimmer Reagen Smith (silver 200m backstroke I think) and showed videos of her training with Bowman while he was wearing Longhorn gear. Makes for great exposure I reckon.
  7. Also, sort of Longhorn adjacent is Shaine Casas, who will be swimming the 200 IM (alongside Longhorn Carson Foster). Originally from McAllen (Puro RGV!), he went to A&M (first NCAA swim champion in A&M history), then intended to transfer to Texas for his senior year. Instead of transferring, he decided to turn pro instead, but he still made the move to Austin to train under Eddie Reese. UPDATE: Finished the semis with the 9th fastest time, does not qualify for the final

  9. It looks like what someone thinks a trash can might look like in Back to the Future
  10. Fun 2-2 draw with preseason Chelsea today
  11. I have a niece named Neveah (Hispanic, not white, surprisingly, I know). Phonetically, she is Neh-vay-yah.
  12. I saw other reports that fee could get as high as €20 million, probably with performance add ons or sell on clauses or etc
  13. I'm about to hit my 12th year in the military, which comes with a little pay raise as long as the pay people don't fuck it up. You can expect my contribution to go up once that hits
  14. Keep asking. He'll get tired of his break eventually. Pleasepleaseplease.gif
  15. Long game. Klopp hadn't stepped down from Liverpool yet when we rehired Gregg.
  16. It's happening? Fox Sports post-game reporting Gregg is OUT!
  17. How do I enable 2FA on mobile? Not finding it in the settings
  18. I hear Karen Key Largo knows some nice friendly Asians that do all of her computer- stuff that she can recommend
  19. I think it's pretty obvious that we're just waiting for the end of the MLS season so that we can hire the guy who coached the team that finishes 10th (or maybe we'll shoot for the stars and go for the guy that finishes 9th!)
  20. This sounds awesome. Count me in! I haven't played any football games in the past several years, so I'll need some practice, but I'm in.
  21. Not sure if you made that up off the top of your head, but that exact guy actually does exist. https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/fabian-hurzeler-who-is-st-pauli-s-us-born-coach-former-bayern-munich-youth-player-22956 Houston born Fabian Hurzeler just took St Pauli back up to the Bundesliga and was just hired by Brighton, becoming the youngest premier league manager ever at the ripe age of 31.
  22. Hey guys, does anyone know if Bevo was at the introduction? I'm really interested to see if Bevo and Schloss have a natural bond and if Schloss willingly reaches out. Bevo is a huge part of our university and our athletics programs so if he has an instant affinity for Coach Schloss, I think that will speak volumes to our recruits. If anyone could, please take and post video of their initial encounter. Any still shots of Coach Schloss petting Bevo would also be appreciated - would prefer if taken from side so I can see as much as possible of both their faces. Edit: damn it, that's what I get for not reading the entire thread. Da Fino beat me to it literally by several days. That's what I get for thinking I'm funny lol
  23. I think, in her head, what she was looking for was something more like Florida-FSU. Or maybe UNC-Duke. But then she unknowingly stumbled onto a perfect comparison
