  1. I'm in the same spot as Squish - willing to Venmo funds to @Nice Guy Eddie to participate in the Surly Cartel if you have a spot. After getting used up (sans lube) by fees I don't know how good of a horse I can get on my own...
  2. And the god damn fees on all of this are outrageous. I thought one of the main attractions of cypto was to avoid the fees that banks charge, but this makes the banks look like a fucking charity. 18% to convert ETH to WETH!?
  3. Man, I've spent the last hour or so trying to figure this shit out and I feel like a feeble old man. I've created an account on Zed, connected it to MetaMask, funded MetaMask with ETH from Bittrex and now I need an OpenSea account? I need a nap.
  4. Is it too late to get in on the fake horse cartel? I've been following in the background here and would like to participate if it's not too late - or on the next fake horse if it's too late for Reasonable.
  5. This is the confounding part for me too. It's all about the way Dotard makes them FEEL, not the results that he was able to drive or the vision of the USA that he is pushing. It's all about feelings, grievance, owning the libs, etc. etc. etc. White men are really the people who are being oppressed in this country and he's the only one stoking that fear.
  6. I did a quick dive on it a few weeks back and couldn't get myself comfortable enough, mainly because of the old "if it seems too good to be true" mantra.
  7. This is pretty much my understanding of Rudy's connection to all of this as well. I'd just add that Toensing, deGenevo, and John Solomon were all running a smoke screen for all of this BS on Fox News/The Hill to make it more politically acceptable for Trump to pardon Firtash and continue to push for a smear job on Biden. I hope that T&G get popped for FARA violations as well. I sure wish Barr's fuckery would be investigated in this shit too.
  8. i.e., I realize my take was incorrect and I'm taking my ball and going back to the safe space of the DT. Seriously, all of those were horrific events, but they are missing a pretty clear differentiator with 1/6 - the sitting POTUS' team organizing said event... This isn't that difficult.
  9. I think it is. It will spit off a nice dividend and will continue to rise if oil keeps creeping up to $80.
  10. I live on a lake and the assholes who hug the shoreline to surf make me ragey af. Why don't those fuckheads realize they don't need glass to plow a 10k+ lb boat through the water to make a wave? It's especially aggravating when the water is higher than normal and the waves come up on the deck or toss around kids who are playing in the water in front of the dock. More than once I've given the "dad yell" at them for being too close and tossing kids around.
  11. I'm sure they are all a little different, but I changed the oil on my Honda Pioneer for the first time a few months ago and it was ezpz. I bought a kit from Amazon that had oil, oil filter, air filter and a funnel that made things a little easier. I ordered a new spark plug as well, but Honda made sure to put the plug in a spot that is f'n impossible to access without taking off the panel under the seat. I didn't have the tool needed to mess with the plastic "rivets" and so I couldn't get the boot off the plug.
  12. They've found ways to rationalize much more difficult things than that, I'm sure these assbags will find a way to white knight Ron some how. I watched the first two episodes last night and found it pretty interesting (depressing at times too). I'd like a way to explain some of the more prominent "Proofs" they mentioned - it's probably as simple as Trump had someone paying attention to it and telling him things to say that corresponded to previous drops. The clips of Trump talking so much about the storm with all of the military folks surrounding him was weird af and I didn't remember that happening. It's a sad state of affairs that so many people let the ramblings of an anonymous rando completely take over their entire lives.
  13. That's what I figured. The pressure campaign from the preloaded McAfee was pretty over the top too, I'm not sure why Dell would ship with that installed already.
  14. I bought a Dell desktop last year and it came with McAfee preloaded on it. The "free trial" expired and it was always screaming at me so I removed it. Is the general consensus that Windows Defender and Malwarebytes is plenty of protection?
  15. I took some profits on the RMO bump today and bought some more IBRX as well. I'm riding with @Harrison Stafford on AMY too, but I'm antsy to sell some of my position. Don't know how I ended up with so much of it, but it's more than I'm comfortable with.
  16. This is what I've been doing for all 3 of mine since each one of them was born - $100 per kid, per month. They can either go to a state school or go to a state school, their choice.
  17. Sounds about right. It's a shame Dear Leader is no longer around to pardon his dumb ass.
  18. This trip has been on my bucket list for a while. What outfit did you go through?
  19. I think you could do a hell of a lot worse than selling when the market is at all time highs and getting completely out of debt. Sure those stocks might continue to go up after you sell, but I don't see how you would ever regret getting debt free. No need to pay a financial advisor a cut to tell you that... Just my $.02 @nineliveslost
  20. +1 for an Isofrane. It wears a little big, but it's bombproof and won't ever stink.
  21. You are doing the Lord's work on Twitter! I thank you for your service.
  22. Yes, it's a bummer not to wear mine much. I was in a suit a few times a week before Covid and would wear dress shirts the rest of the time. I haven't put on a pair of slacks since February 2020, but that should change soon. I will get a sportier automatic at some point that I can get more wear out of, but it will be a while. I was looking hard at a Seamaster or a Seamaster GMT before getting the Portugieser. I like both of those that you posted above. There's a white faced GMT with blue hands that I liked a lot too.
