I don’t.  I assume you all wouldn’t want to be spreading misinformation.  You know the thing you all repeatedly piss down your legs about.

Misinformation is "trans people are taking over women's sports" when they are less than half a percent of the population. Quit being a dumb ass. If you are going to argue at least find a topic worth arguing about.

It’s a nothing burger, yet he felt obligated to misrepresent what occurred by claiming it only happened at the D3 level.  Hmmm, why?

Maybe because he mistook the directional schools these girls played at as D3 institutions? Regardless, it's 3 fucking girls out of over 5000. Why do you give a shit?

I know elimination of misinformation and disinformation is so very, very sacred to the self imagined democracy defenders.  So I feel obligated to advise you the San Jose State is Division I Volleyball.

Again, dumb ass, there are better than 5000 Division 1 volleyball players, only three are trans. None of those three are playing for any of the perennial powerhouses. San Jose State didn't win their conference and didn't make it to the tournament despite all the forfeits by their opposition. So what are we even talking about here? Nothingburger

I was joking how I was surprised you weren’t here to spin Quinn’s injury. And then I was told it was a pussy move not tagging you in my comment. And here we are. All jokes aside, I wish Quinn nothing but luck in securing that bag.

Man, we got bigger fish to fry in this country than what QE is doing. Y'all have at it. Call me at the combine/Pro Day/Draft.

I can just hear all the Fox News crowd picturing black people and clapping not realizing that rural America is about to become a war zone. One thing is for sure. Pressure bursts pipes, and people in rural America will turn to what they always do when money is tight. It's about to be land of the zombies out there.

I'm not sure it's been brought up on this thread, but where in the hell are Biden, Clinton, and Bush?  Why the hell are they not holding press conferences talking about the danger of fascism?

Their silence is their complicity.  Fuck 'em all.

It's called flooding the zone. I am sure Dems are saying something but all the media is covering is Trump/Elon 24/7.

I'm sure you are right.   You should sell everything and go full off grid prep'er.  The board will be less great for your absence, but I wish you well.

Lol. That's not how you prepare for something like this. I liquidated some assets so I can be in a position to buy all your shit when you fold. I promise to take care of them real nice like.

This. I keep calling out @Ag with kids because he’s sincere and thoughtful and presents his ideas in good faith.
Back in the 2000’s he correctly pointed out (and I agreed, FWIW) that a huge downside of Obamacare was that it would prevent people like him (ie, people using health insurance correctly) from using the kind of very affordable HDHPs that used to exist for catastrophic care, and that Obamacare further entrenched the already severe problem of people using a risk management product as a prepayment service for routine expenses, and that it would drive costs for those expenses up. He was right!

My point is, it’s good to cultivate and not drive away Republicans who are willing to talk about issues, even if only to understand what the hell they are talking about and how they look at things, as wrong-headed and baffling as it may be (like his views on gerrymandering.

Yeah but you can't have honest dialogue with anyone here if you are in the minority as the unwashed will neg you into oblivion. So if I were @Ag with kids with kids I wouldn't want to lose access to the Surl over a difference in ideology. Until we stop negging the shit out of people we disagree with honest dialogue is not possible.

I mean if outrage reached a certain level and his poll numbers dropped far enough, eventually impeachment and removal from office would be on the table. But that would probably come after the whole cancellation of elections etc. part. And I'm not sure if we have enough leopards to eat that many faces.

No brother it's over. We are already in a dictatorship. No one is going to move this guy for two reasons.

    1) They are all afraid of him.

    2) They won't for the same reasons the MAGA faithful didn't. They don't give a shit because it doesn't affect them. The only thing left to do is cancel elections which they already have we just haven't had it announced yet.

    “The CRAZIES”. are so loud!
     thoughts & prayers traylay!

I can confirm this to be true. My daughter is a high level athlete as many of you know but still a type 1 diabetic. Wife told me that her 504 plan is now on the chopping block. No big issue for us since she is just a diabetic but for those special needs kids this is going to get ugly.

100%. And this is where Democrats lose imo. It's all about the narrative/story you're telling and whether voters believe it. It doesn't matter if that story is true or not.

Trump says dumb shit like "there's fires in California because they turned off the water. We just need to turn the faucet on and the fires will stop." and people believe it. Of course it's fucking idiotic and incorrect, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is people believe it.

Also Trump has an entire propaganda machine behind him repeating his bullshit again and again and again until it becomes "truth." Just like at January 6th. A day of love where, ok sure there was some violence, but it was all Nancy Pelosi's fault!

This.  The only currency of any value to the "persuadable" voters is lies.  Tell them lies, big lies, on repeat, hammering them with a firehose of lies.

"Democrats will double your social security without raising taxes.  Republicans want to take away your social security and are installing spy cameras on your computers right now, through Elon's Starlink, so China can see everything you do."

Naw man, Trump voters believe that shit because they want to. Why they want to has shit to do with its substance. For example see the videos of the interviewer telling them things that Trump did that were actually from Biden. They agree with anything Trump says because of the core things he says he stands for and thats hate of the people they hate. That's why messaging doesn't work for them Dems. This is something Reagan figured out. Just like the story just upthread about the farmers voting against their own interest to stop pronouns.

i’m old. So I know lots of old people. And I talk to lots of old people.  Since 2020 I have not had a single conversation with, nor heard other old people talking about the 1994 Crime Bill being a reason why they voted for Biden in 2020.

At this point, you are just making shit up.   In 2020 most of the old people I know who voted for Biden did so because voting for Trump was so fucking stupid - Trump having repeatedly displayed his stupidity, immaturity, ignorance, incompetence, and illegality.

If those same old people who voted for Biden " because voting for Trump was so fucking stupid" voted for Harris, then you and I wouldn't be having this conversation would we?

Some were, but working class people in high crime neighborhoods were broadly in favor of it. The bill was a disaster, but that and DADT were more in line with legacy Democrat coalition social politics than NAFTA or the repeal of Glass Steagall.

Huh? Clinton was a direct response to the Dems getting mollywhopped in 3 straight elections. They decided to run the most conservative Dem they could. Had shit to do with progressives and everything to do with countering the R's to pull their base over. Clinton is the reason for the shift to the right across the spectrum.

We secretly have a LOT of racists in this country. Clinton's "tough on crime" stance, and southern beginnings comforted them. Biden also won for a lot of the same reasons. The olds remembered the 94 crime bill fondly and how he spoke about minorities back in the old days so they were okay with him.

Clinton signed NAFTA. Glass-Steagal Reform. Brokered the WTO Treaty with China. Pushed Fanny and Freddy. For all the righting the budget in the 90's, they shift to the right and penning of some awful bills wasn't worth it.

The dude is doing the classic push throw which used to be considered "throwing like a girl." It's an old term that doesn't make sense anymore with the rise of softball.

My daughter had better me mechanics at age 7.

Anyways, this guy's father failed him.

One of the first things I taught my daughter was proper throwing mechanics. That's how she got to be good at volleyball. It's embarrassing for a grown man to throw like that. His father indeed failed him.
