  1. Because its questionable if it would be call a backwards pass.
  2. It's a screen pass. That was the call. It was never meant to go downfield.
  3. He threw the ball to the other shoulder opposite where the DB was. Moore was looking for it to the inside.
  4. It's a screen. You throw that downfield and it gets called back for linemen downfield.
  5. The problem is we cannot run the football. They were killing the interior of our line. You can't ask the quarterback to be the entirety of your offense. You also can't ask the quarterback to recover from 100 yards worth of offensive calls either.
  6. The problem is we can't run the football. Their backup quarterback did nothing but throw the ball two yards. They run it on us when they had to. Again.
  7. Always the same dumb asses in this thread. You included.
  8. these runs are just putting us behind the sticks.
  9. We keep losing yardage trying to run and getting behind the chains.
  10. The fuck are you talking about? We can't run the football, our kicker can't hit shit, and we have a million penalties.
  11. I too am also old. I get called sir and unk a lot. Lol. Everyone looks like kids to me.
  12. This game is about opportunities. We have to take advantage of the ones we've had and we have not.
  13. Helm barely got a hand on him. Come on man. He was beat immediately. You guys watch games just waiting for anything to happen that you can blame on him. Tough way to watch a game.
  14. Or what happens when you protect
  15. Yeah that's the quarterbacks fault....rolls eyes.
  16. Outside zone doesn't work vs Ga
  17. I will say this again and some of you are going to say I am making excuses for Quinn. Batted balls coming from the same place are a sign of a lineman who isn't playing with good technique. In football every player watches film looking for advantages or tells in their 1v1 matchup. Linemen aren't supposed to allow a defensive lineman to disengage and jump up and bat balls. Quinn has 7 interceptions and 5 of those are batted balls, 4 of which came from the right side of the line. The 5th came from a free rusher from the nickel spot to the right. I cannot remember a single batted ball coming from the left. That's a pretty telling stat. Why are no batted balls happening left when the ball comes out the same way? Truthfully, pretty much everything bad happens on the right side of the line in pass pro.
  18. The first issue is we were completely out-physicaled. We were not ready for the fight AT ALL. Offensively they dominated us at the LOS. Defensively we got bullied there too. We got no pressure at all on Beck and without looking I wanna say Etienne averaged like 7 ypc. We gave up 7 sacks, 3 fumbles, and like a million pressures. They were playing man a lot and bullying our receivers downfield. Basically the same thing aggy was trying to do sat. Intimidate us and be the superior physical team. The difference is we have now run the gauntlet and found our second wind. We can run it now and we found a reliable back we can lean on. We are also fighting back. When aggy went straight thuggery we shrugged our shoulders and kept playing. We seemed to have shored up the run defense and found our stride with our pass rush. Guys like Trey Moore have started coming on lately. I think as long as we are prepared for a fist fight we should be good. There will be turnovers. People need to be prepared for that. Georgia is a damn good football team. We just need to win the turnover battle.
  19. You guys have trouble with what is right in front of you. Helm is better than Sanders but when they were on the same team(same recruiting class too) Helm couldn't beat Sanders out. The easy answer is maybe Sanders was just a better receiver. But no you guys twist yourselves in knots to justify how Helm "grew" into a better receiver than Sanders in the 8 months since Sanders left. Williams is better than Jones. Almost all the pressure, gaffs, and batted balls are coming from that side of the line. The easy answer is that Jones was better than Williams but you guys twist yourselves in knots to say how Williams is better than Jones ignoring the evidence of even Campbell saying Jones helped him stay solid with protections. Offensive productivity drops after losing 7 players on the offensive side of the ball. Seems like the most logical conclusion would be the 7 players we lost on offense, but no it's all just simply because the quarterback regressed. Offenses usually keep humming along at the same pace after losing their 5 star back and 6 players to the NFL right? We couldn't seem to connect on anything downfield to Worthy in 22 at all so Sark went to the portal, got AD, and turned X into a short to intermediate guy and things seemed to get fixed. Mahomes never struggled missing wide open Hill before. They got rid of Hill and struggled with receivers failing to get sep vs DBs which was killing their big play passing game. So they went and got some real speed again but can't hit dude even though he is wide ass open. The logical fucking answer is maybe like we found out X just isn't a deep threat receiver since no one has ever seen him catch the ball downfield with any regularity. Ever. Even though we've seen X with 5 different quarterbacks now, including the best one in the NFL. But no. It has to be because Mahomes footwork right? I have admitted what I think Ewers' issues are plenty of times in this thread. It is you guys that blame every single thing that happens negatively on offense on him.
  20. The article is like listening to the second wife complain about the same things the first wife complains about and then blaming the issues on herself.
