  1. That's the thing. It's games like Georgia where he shows up. He holds up okay vs the rest of the schedule, even aggy. Georgia is just it man. They got dudes on top of dudes and if you struggle anywhere they will find it. To be honest thank the Lord for Milroe or those dudes would've had 3 trophies in a row.
  2. This is it right here. With Wisner a defense can be aggressive because you know he is going to be where the run is called. So as soon as you see your run keys you can get downhill to the spot. Bijan would stick his foot in there and when you got there he would be gone. So a defender had to scrape and fill or risk him popping from a different hole for 40. That gave linemen an extra beat to get a hat on someone.
  3. This right here. IZ is better for the RPO game. There are more RPO options off of it. It also doesn't expose your quarterback like OZ does on play action. But we suck at it for the most part so Sark went with tap dancing instead.
  4. They also played better defense than we did against them. Georgia only scored 10 points. They turned them over 3 times and got after Beck with 5 Sacks. Ga won the TOP by just about 5 minutes.
  5. This is an interesting take because I think it is also true. We were better schematically vs Aggy by far! Guys were finding their man and getting a hat on them. Aggy has NFL talent up front just undisciplined. They are physically capable though and we looked like we were playing against Sam Houston. Then you put in the tape vs Ga and guys are busting assignments everywhere. That little bit of difference in speed and suddenness is freaking them out. Good call.
  6. Look at their over-pursuit on the OZ play. We wash down their entire D-line linebackers included. Look at their backside DE getting caught on the inside. Just awful defense. They tried their best to play the Quinn Ewers prevent defense with having their safeties back just willing to live with what we got on the ground. But not 200 yards. 7. Indeed he did. Georgia is fucking physical and well coached. Contrast what you are seeing with how the Aggies played us the week prior. No one gets initially whipped at the line and in fact they are able to easily climb to the second level. Even the receiver gets a nice block. Aggies just are pussies. No fight in them. They are happily accepting these blocks. Thank you sir may I please have another. SEC Championship Game Texas vs Georgia - YouTube.mp4
  8. Both TEs are on the right side of the formation. We pull Campbell to kick out the DE. Juan Davis pulls around as a lead blocker. Campbell needed to bring some pop so he doesn't get knocked back into the backfield. Both Majors and Conner get whipped. Conner's was physical strength. Majors improper technique. Three linemen failed for three different reasons. 52 for not bringing enough effort and aggression. We turned the LT loose to climb to the second level and block a LB then Campbell replaces him by blocking the DE.
  9. I haven't watched much Clemson but looking at the box scores the answer appears to be no. They do seem to be able to get after the QB.
  10. Agreed. Move people away from the box. It clears up everyone's reads. Line. RB. QB. Everyone.
  11. This last one is just a complete shitshow. Conner gets blown up. Multiple busts. RB never had a chance. The entire secondary could've just sat in the grass. They were not needed. SEC Championship Game Texas vs Georgia - YouTube_6.mp4
  12. Look at how Georgia is lined up and we are in 12 personnel. They know that no matter how many blockers we have they are going to win some 1v1's and so no need to walk safeties down to handle us. At the snap both Conner and Majors get mauled and both their guys end up in the backfield. Campbell comes across the formation to kick out the DE, doesn't bring his hat, and gets stoned. Wisner doesn't have a chance. SEC Championship Game Texas vs Georgia - YouTube_5.mp4
  13. We do and we do it for the same reasons Georgia does. Because we can handle the opposition's run game as a secondary concern because our main concern is your passing game. That's why we are the number one pass defense in the country. Georgia is doing the same. Playing our running game as a secondary concern. They are concerned with Ewers and Sark's passing game first.
  14. See how much better we look running out of 11 personnel? We actually have a little room to operate. Helm doesn't win his blocking battle. Hopefully we aren't teaching the receiver to run past the corner and block the dude downfield who is less of a threat. But who am I. This is a 4 more yard run if we block the corner instead. 15. This one is pretty easy. Conner gets pushed in the backfield on a zone play forcing the back to cut it up and get tacked at the line. Play was dead on arrival. SEC Championship Game Texas vs Georgia - YouTube_2.mp4
  16. agreed and again it doesn't show up until he is across the los from Georgia.
  17. Again, Sark trots out 3 backs. Watch all the things that happen here. We fake the jet sweep with Blue. Gibson fires across the formation to handle the backside DE and whiffs, only serving to take himself out. We pull Conner and Majors. Majors has his eyes in the wrong place and runs right past the gap where the LB is. Had he seen that this play could pop for a solid gain. Block inside out. 18. Figured it was time to take a look at why we are struggling running vs Georgia. There are many reasons. Sometimes we just aren't physical enough and don't block through the whistle. We turn guys loose too early allowing them to get back in the play. Sometimes the bunch sets don't help as they bring too many defenders close to the ball that wouldn't otherwise be there. However, most of the time it's just simply players losing 1v1 battles or just missing their assignment not Georgia stacking the box to take away the run like SOME posters like to believe. Below we are running our signature OZ. GEORGIA IS IN NICKEL DESPITE US HAVING TWO TIGHT ENDS ON THE FIELD(12 personnel). This is where Sarkisian's stubbornness is bare ass naked for all to see. We should spread Georgia out an run on them like other teams do. But no we make the distance shorter for them to get to the LOZ. Some of you have heard me say you cannot beat Georgia by playing in a phone booth. This play is an example of that. At the snap Juan Davis(81) come across the formation to cut off backside pursuit freeing Helm up to climb to the backside LB. The line is dancing to left. Majors climbs to the second level to find work. That would make for a nice hole but Conner gets whipped immediately and Wisner has to move on. The edge would've looked pretty good but Golden runs right past the nickel. Wisner sees it, cuts it up, and just tries to get what he can. SEC Championship Game Texas vs Georgia - YouTube.mp4
  19. Taafe is what Blake Gideon was supposed to be.
  20. And Quinn gets 0 credit for putting the ball in a place where receivers can catch the ball in stride? I know you watch other games? How many quarterbacks are throwing as many routes like we are? We throw routes to get YAC. Other people throw a lot of curls, outs, and comebacks. We throw arrows, rails, drags, posts, and digs.
  21. They aren't loading up the box to stop the run. They are doing what most teams do against us and playing pretty honestly on run downs. What you are seeing is us consistently failing to execute blocking. Go back and watch and see. Someone misses and block and Georgia blows the play up. Now against other teams we are good enough to overwhelm them with talent, but those mistakes are glaring against a team like Georgia. Because 11 penalties had nothing to do with that right? drops? Not being able to run? Missing fields goals? You guys are nothing if not consistent with your hate for the kid. You are going to find out he is a lot better than you think he is.
  22. You ever think the reason he is struggling is because the defensive scheme is designed around making life hard for him and largely ignoring the running game? Do you watch games to see how the same teams we played defend other teams? You should. Go watch Vandy play defense vs Tenn and then watch them vs us. Go watch Arkansas play defense on us and then watch them vs others. Teams aren't concerned with our running game. The success we've had running the ball is largely because of that and not because we are naturally good at running the football.
  23. 3rd and 10 in overtime. Sark schemes up a play to get Wisner in the open field 1v1 on a safety. Wisner catches the ball and gets tackled. Y'all- man if Quinn threw that ball 15 inches higher Wisner would've had enough time and speed to hit the flux capacitor and teleport to the end zone.
  24. Guy that was 92.030% of the offense was a spectator. Lol. Not the running game(31 yards). Not the penalties(11). Not the special teams with two missed field goals and not expecting a fake punt when the backup punter came in the game. No. The guy who was 92% of the offense throwing for 360yrds.
