  1. No, it's exactly correct. You guys love to lose so you can come here and rail on the coach. Nothing better to do with your night. So let's address all these at the same time. 1) Quinn was a bit off but he threw a lot of balls that were catchable. Receivers were losing the ball left and right in the air. Those balls had a lot of air under them and could have been caught with a little adjustment. 2) Worthy does not fight for the ball. He gator armed the high ball coming across the middle and made no play on the balls that weren't perfect. 3) We had about 4 balls hit DBs right in the hands and everyone of them was dropped. Come down with those and we win easily. 4) They started loading the box in the second half and we weren't popping the runs like we were in the 1st, so we had to throw. Guys were in position to make plays and they didn't make them. Simple as that. Anything else you guys say is just noise. We have a couple young playmakers, but there are still a ton of holes on this roster. So they young guys have to play with their hair on fire for us to win. Today we had a ton of chances and no one stepped up.
  2. You are wasting your time. The people commenting were hoping for failure. They are so desperate to be right they mentally pull for our team to play bad just so they can lay it at Sark's feet with an I told you so. Then the next week if we come out and win crickets. They lie in wait for the next loss. They enjoy the misery. QE had a bad game and got zero help from receivers. A lot of those balls were catchable, but on the wrong shoulder or required a simple adjustment that they wouldn't give effort to do.
  3. Play design....natural pick to get him open
  4. What is with these receivers not fighting for the ball?
  5. QE is floating passes and its windy. Gonna need to put a little more zip on them to get them on target.
  6. Perfectly normal. Sadly you beat it by teaching them the meltdown isn't going to win them anything. If you fold they have learned it works. Keep the faith and hold the line. Meltdowns we beat easily. Not letting her sleep in our bed was a struggle because my wife was a softy.
  7. Geezus these guys are a joke. Worldwide inflation because Biden is the dumbest shit ever. Wouldn't matter who was in charge. Also, my fence guy is charging 1.5 times the labor he used to because "supply chain issues", or is he seizing the opportunity to increase profits since he has a built in excuse like everyone else?
  8. When we can get to this look we look a little more effective at pressuring the QB but then our eye discipline in our back 7 rears its ugly head when we are close to hitting home on the pass rush. Ugh
  9. Look above. Opponent completion %, opponent third down %, and sack % are all related issues and why we struggle so much on defense. It is hard to get after the passer with a 3 man front. Beating a man head up is a lot harder than coming from the edge. We have JAGs so some of these guys would be a lot more effective playing in a different scheme. We need to play a different front on those 3rd and longs but opposing teams know that and rush back to the line to keep our personnel on the field, and thus no pass rush.
  10. "Herman didn’t win NEARLY enough of those games either" and "Mack was (overall) magic at pulling out those type of games"? Players win games. Herman won more than Strong because he had Ehlinger. Strong won at Louisville because he had Bridgewater. Mack's 3rd most successful year was with Simms, second Colt, and first Vincent Paul Young Jr. Wouldn't you know that's the exact order of who was the best QB while here. Big time players make plays in crucial spots to decide games. We were ass all day yesterday but when all the chips were on the table RoJo, Bijan, Worthy, and Ewers all did their thing for the go ahead drive. Then Our defensive leader made the game saving play. Last year someone was always NOT making a play. Casey Cain is what happened last year when you needed a play. As we get more guys who perform in big moments we will lose less games. The college game is more about getting DUDES over JAGS.
  11. He is good when he is kept clean and allowed to be cut loose.
  12. They are getting him open with man/zone busting route concepts and we never seemed to understand how to handle it. This was where Muschamp would shine, but alas here we are. At least we are playing physical. Hard to watch us dying a slow death out there.
  13. To be fair you guys WERE crying a good bit over the course of the game.
  14. Things I see- Worthy- Last year Worthy was a burner and not much else. This year he is running some sick routes, getting in and out breaks much better. Growth. His next area of maturation is not getting muscled all over the field by DBs. He needs to get stronger and more physical. JWhitt- Coach got him slimmed down and he is much faster without losing his strength. Sanders- Not much to be said here. Kid is a grown ass man. Line- Not bad to get a line with this much experience playing good physical football. ISU does what they do, and it's tough for these guys to know who they are responsible for facing a front like ISU's. RBs- All of them are catching passing this year. Defensively the front is much more sound. Guys are playing like they are trying to play on Sundays. Our shortcomings are we can't get pressure on the QB, we struggle handling certain route combos, and in this particular game our secondary was biting on the RPO's and getting slants thrown behind them. ISU kept throwing those same route combos at us over and over.
  15. Correct on all accounts. Just frustrating period. When an opposing QB plays Texas they have to be licking their chops. To walk into a game knowing you aren't going to get any pressure must be nice. If I were Texas I would concede a throw just to pop the QB even if its late. You just can't let a QB stand back there and run a 7-7 passing drills clinic for 3 hours. But to your point, maybe getting a few snaps for the kids on the safe end of the field is the way to get them some game experience.
  16. Hey bro- Brown skin older guy here. You are going on about pussy you hope to have to guys who've already had more pussy than you. It's like bragging about one day being rich to guys who worry about capital gains all day long. That's some weirdo type shit. And while I may be older, my dick is still just as big as it was when I was your age young fella. Young girls like older guys too.
  17. At some point he is going to miss on assistants at a point when he is just a little down on explosive players.
  18. We have 0 edge pressure. 0. We give QBs a nice comfortable pocket. We blitz and can't get home. So we use DMO on the edge and then we have no playmakers in the middle. We have to get some edge rushers or this is what we will see every week.
  19. What are you talking about? The screen is an extended running play to your fastest/shiftiest receiver. Just so happens he bobbles it and by the time he gets control the defender is on him. Then Bijan dances around on 2nd. And what kind of 3rd and long play do you think isn't slow developing to a team that is dropping 7 to 8? Come on guys. The game was called well from an offensive standpoint. Guys gotta make plays and they did when it counted.
  20. I swear some of you folks just love the misery.
