I am 99% convinced that Steven Avery is guilty but I will watch Season 2 with an open mind. Hopefully they didn't omit as much as they did in the first Series.
I was under the impression that S2 was focused on Brendan Dassey but that doesn't seem to be the case by the comments here.
I believe that Avery killed her, I also don't believe that the state provided enough evidence to lock him up for life.
Dassey never should've been convicted. It's a crime against humanity that he is still behind bars.

When The Office first ran, I kind of identified with Halpert because he was smart and funny. Watching it again years later, drives home that Jim, while not a bad guy, maybe has a little too high an opinion of himself. (Which I can understand, when you work with Michael Scott and guys like Kevin and Phyllis, etc.) But it does make me look at Jim in a different light.
The phone-call scene where Jim unloads on Pam for not recording their kid or something always makes me want to kick Jim's ass. My favorite characters are definitely Pam and Dwight.
1. Who told you that you were smart and funny?
2. You're right on Jim. Real smug.
3. After they get married, both Jim and Pam are awful.

I would open my non-profit camp for veterans to be able to have a place to get the fuck away from the bullshit of their lives and go find a place that is as close of a recreation to the place we wish we could go back to. It would be built like a fob in the middle of no where surrounded by mountains and have tents and CHUs. They would be able to take their families. Whenever I roll open this camp, whether I win the lottery or not, I want to run simulations with paintball guns for OPFOR and QRF to do infiltration and reaction as well as figure out something to simulate explosions for indirect fire for spouses and adult children so they understand why their service members have such a hard time readjusting and be more understanding with us. The families likely wouldn't be either opfor or qrf, although that may be something that could be incorporated depending on how it would work. You know waivers of liability and shit. There are so many things that can happen on a deployment so I'm sure I would add more lanes for the families to experience to help them begin to build a bridge with their service member. The bottom line is I ultimately want to help cut down on the number of divorces for service members because I think that will help cut down on the number of suicides for veterans and service members.
We got guys talking about buying high school volleyball teams and here you come with this very thoughtful, considerate, heartworming gesture. What the hell is wrong with you?

I've got the season finale left but I feel like I'm punching the clock watching these days. I don't find it all that enjoyable anymore.
Ditto. I watched the first few episodes of this season and bailed. It used to be mindlessly entertaining. That is no longer the case. It's just boring, and like someone else said, a beating. It's trying to be something that it is most clearly not.

(Its snow icy and 25 degrees out)Ha, this is the first morning the temp has been below the 70's with insane humidity.
Hell, this is the first day our highs will dip below 80. And it is glorious. Last Thursday, the heat index was 102. It was brutal.

Two chicks talking. Sadly, I missed the first part of the conversation, but one of them said, "I would rather fuck my brother than do THAT?". Regrettably I never learned what THAT was.
Butt seks.

Paul Blart mall cop was actually surprisingly funny. Nobody has seen it, to know that, though.

I Am a Killer
I'm two episodes in, and it's pretty interesting. I've always been interested in the psyche of serial killers and killers in general. Probably why I enjoyed Mindhunter so much.

I work from home so I'm usually the one who "gets ready" for the cleaning lady each week. I don't travel a whole lot, but I do travel for work some and Mrs CL has lately started complaining lately about the cleaning lady coming when I'm out of town. Apparently it's too much work for her to spend the 10 minutes that I normally spend getting the house ready picking up dirty clothes and putting away breakfast dishes. She says it's hard enough already to get the kids out of bed and off to school by herself. (Normally this is my job, too)
This week I have to leave town. Cleaning lady is supposed to come on Wednesday (today). Mrs CL tells me to tell the cleaning lady not to come at all. She "can't handle" the extra work. I tell her OK, but point out that the house will now go two weeks without getting cleaned up and it needs it.
Never fear she says, I'll do a little cleaning myself before I go to work. I ask about this obvious contradiction and apparently that's a TONE-worthy question I shouldn't be asking.
These are the texts I started getting during my breakfast meeting this morning in Chicago:
Did I post this in my sleep? Is Crimsonlonghorn my sock?

I just thought of one that is along the same lines.
As I mentioned earlier, people here say "warsh" and "quatter" instead of quarter. It's like they take the "r" out of quarter and use it in wash. A guy at my work is one of the offenders that I have to listen to. A few weeks ago he was saying the word "analyze" but pronounced the first 2 syllables "anal". So, anal-yzed. I got a good laugh out of that one and am giggling a little now recalling it.
So, doens't make me surly, just makes me laugh.
Missouri is in the weird yankee/redneck hinterland.
