Yes it was very good and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. If you like ripper street, penny dreadful and the like you will like it

I haven't seen those, but I liked Taboo and other works from that time period.

Was there about 5 years ago for a conference.  Guinness and Jameson are a must.  Plenty of cool historical stuff.  I had a few good upscale dinners that I could probably look up, but don't really remember anything being bad.

We've booked a Saints and Sinners tour. First part of day will be seeing the old cathedrals, in the afternoon will be touring the Jameson distillery. I'm pretty pumped about it.

What if you're undergrad is a G5 school? Still plays FBS, but we all know very well that G5 and P5 are basically two different leagues.

    I need some answers here?

Does yours stack them next to the trash for you too?

Hell yes. Breaking down a box is foreign to my wife. She also enjoys stacking shit by the door for me to take out, instead of just walking the 20 or so steps through the garage to the garbage bin.

Was watching the episode of the office where Pam slaps Michael and then Dwight puts half a frozen chicken on Michael's face for the swelling.

"He's going to get salmonella! That's my greatest fear!"

She then proceeds to explain the highly complicated measures she goes through to keep everything clean while preparing chicken in the kitchen. I didn't pay that much attention to the details, but I'm pretty sure she marinates it in bleach.

    Spoiler

She's slowly trying to kill you to collect life insurance money.

Get Out - Didn’t really care for it. It’s a horror/thriller flick full of cliches, dressed up with the theme of racial conflict. Maybe I’ve just grown out of horror flicks. Not sure what everyone else saw in this one.

Me neither. Very overrated movie. I thought it was just okay, and didn't get all the love being thrown it's way.

  7. One of my favorite shows of all time. Great characters, dialogue, story lines, scenery, Fuck Yeah Ava Crowder, Winona, Raylen Givens is one of the best protagonists of all time, Boyd Fucking Crowder....I could go on and on.

  8. This season has had a disappointing lack of Angela so far.

Agree with @Vito Andolini. Tyler is proving to be a very good player. I really didn't anticipate liking him, or rooting for him coming into the season.

It's not arbitrary. You cheer for your undergrad alma mater. It is known.

If you don't then you're a dipshit. If your undergrad alma mater does not field a team in a given sport it's fine to pick another favorite team, but saying "I'm a Cornhusker" when you're not is a lie and makes you a dipshit.

    Glad to help.

  10. I watched both episodes last night. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Then again, I'm no cattle rancher nor forensics expert, so I'm not over analyzing everything.

Also, how does the Paramount Network get away with showing tite?

  11. How and why has no one made a move on one of the two smoking hot girls (Angela and Rachel) in the house? Is it because the two "bros" are way too into each other?

I have been enjoying this from the perspective of learning.  I have seen tons of stuff on Civil War and WW2, but these newest documentaries on WWI, Korea, Crimean War and Vietnam are good.

I just watched Long Shadow on WW1 and it was outstanding. Anyone have another rec for a WW1 documentary?
