  1. More like Coleridge or Tennyson. Byron had the ghey (NTTAWWT).
  2. I've found 2 bottles this week at 2 different Goody Goody Liquors (Greenville and Oaklawn).
  3. I already sell to a couple of sand guys that put a specialty coating on their sand. This business is really growing.
  4. No kidding! I thought Probst was going to drop right down onto his knees in the sand and blow him. Screaming chick who blew the lead and couldn't tell people how to do the puzzle definitely should have gone home last night. However, James was a huge liability if they have another swimming challenge.
  5. I found 3 different stores yesterday with Weller 12. Two of them were selling Weller 12 750ml for $100 and the third was selling a 1 Liter bottle for $109. No thanks.
  6. OP, how many wine coolers did it take?
  7. She was "Teacher of the Year". If I were that 13 year old, I'd damn sure vote for her.
  8. It actually has a very grim and sad history. It's a mesa high above the river and desert below that narrows to a thin choke point and then opens up again at the end. Apparently, they used to corral wild horses through the narrow portion, block it off and trap them on the tip. They would then catch and break the ones they wanted and leave the rest to die from lack of water. When the Park Ranger told us the story, I looked at my wife and said, "Holy shit! Did he say that they would corral whores out onto that point, keep the good looking ones and leave the rest to die?" Her only response was an eye roll.
  9. What's a decent price for that Weller 107? Never mind. I see on line that it should be ~$30. Glad I didn't buy the bottle I saw today for $80.
  10. We go to The Big Bend region at least once a year. We did Palo Duro, Great Sand Dunes, Pagosa Springs, Durango, Mesa Verde, 4 corners, Telluride, Crested Butte and Santa Fe on a 2 week trip 2 Summers ago. That Spring we had done a Deer Valley (skiing), then hiking Capitol Reef, Arches, Monument Valley, Canyonlands and Dead Whores Point State Park. Last Summer, tons of hiking in Iceland. This Summer, Spain in June, Lake Tahoe in August and then The Big Bend again at the end of the year. I'll have to post some pics when I get a chance. Luxurious camping at Lake Whitney SP this weekend.
  11. What's the name? We ship a metric ass ton out of the Great American warehouse in Houston and we're always looking for good carriers. Assuming they can handle Hazardous materials.
  12. For those that care, lots of new sand company activity in West Texas; Preferred Sands, Hi-Crush, Alpine Silica, Black Mountain Sand, Hi Roller and US Silica. Good luck finding enough trucks/drivers to haul all of that sand.
  13. Only during "fat chick" season. On that note, I saw a ridiculously lifted truck in Midland on the way back from The Big Bend earlier this year. A bumper sticker on the back window read, Lift Your Ride! Fat Girls Can't Jump!"
  14. At least it's in 4K Ultra HD. So you can see the very few, pasty, fully clothed women like they're actually right there in the room with you.
  15. Something a little more exciting than watching a Texas Mountain Laurel grow?
  16. I've never downloaded something from Netflix on my phone to watch later. I spend a fair amount of time on airplanes. If I download something to my phone using the Netflix app, how long will it stay on my device before it "expires" or can no longer be viewed? I'd hate to board a flight expecting to watch something and get stuck having to read or (God forbid) work.
  17. Mesa verde was cool, but the tours are guided and fill up quickly. Train to Silverton had a lot of pretty views, but damn was that a beating! Way too long! We did 4 corners, Mesa verde, hiking and fishing when we were there a couple of year's ago, but it was August. Watch out for bears. They'll be waking up and hungry. Pizza at the Old School House was pretty cool. Great pizza, good beer and a pool table.
  18. The only thing I'll add (especially for a youngster) is to get one with a cover or even a cover/holster for the blade. If it comes sharp, you want the sharp edge to be contained as much as possible when it isn't being used.
  19. You can kill us, but we'll only come back stronger!!!
  20. Chad Briscoe is not ready for public radio. He also replied that he was too busy rubbing his bird.
  21. Are you saying that we should start a wreath fund?
