Did not think trimming the hedges was going to be literal at first.
This would have been a more productive use of time. Thankfully though, she keeps this task in regular rotation.

She watched me install it. Made fun of me for being so meticulous about it. She plugs the damn in every weekend.

Huh... Never really worked for me
This was the activity at my first Cub Scouts meeting. I quit the next day.

Wife decided to trim the hedges on her day off while I was at work. She proceeded to tangle and cut the electrical cable to the covered patio I had built. Took me 2 hours to run the electrical line because I wanted it unseen! I am meticulous and she is spontaneous.
Still trying not to get mad because she DID trim the hedges but FUCK!

I hate doing this but it has worked for the last 4 games.

This will probably not make anyone else's favorite but 1989 when Peter Gardere won the game we had no business winning was huge for me and many fellow students. The 80s were rough for the die hard faithful but I will never forget winning that game or the 3 to follow.

Really like Sam as a person and loyal Horn.
But have strong concerns about his mental capacity at an elite D1 level.
Saturday will tell us A LOT.
This is where I am. He needs this game as much as anyone. He could grow a lot in minds and hearts with a solid performance. I'm not confident but I'm hopeful.

Glad they cracked this one.

Most courses are closed on Mondays. If it was a Monday she was probably alone and practicing with consent or just out there thinking no one would care because she want playing.

Daughter could stay as long as she wants but she got a big ass 1 year old dog that is a deal breaker. Plus it will be closer to her new job and social life.
Anyway, wife decides to get a Uhaul for the move. I can't help Friday night or Saturday night but am happy to help Saturday during the day.
Me. Why do you need a Uhaul? What are you moving?
Wife: Bed (broken down), Desk and boxes.
Me: You don't need a Uhaul.
Wife: I want to rent a Uhaul.
Me. We have 3 SUV's we can fit it all plus you have already taken stuff over there.
Wife: I want to make one trip.
Me: If you're going to do that get the smallest thing you can.
Wife: I already rented it.
So we go to the Uhaul place on Friday at 3:00 to get the TRUCK for a 24 hour rental. I am laughing at the size of the truck but hold my tongue. Wife decides she will move Friday night instead while I'm gone. I protest a little but know she is full steam ahead. I leave. She loads the Uhaul. Drives to the apartment with a truck that could only be 1/6 full at best, with twin 10 year olds inside the cab and a 22 year old daughter on site to help move everything. Apartment is on the 2nd floor. Only way to get to second floor without stairs is by parking garage. Parking garage has 8ft clearance. Truck 11ft.
When I get home Friday night wife says, I need you to help me take the desk out of the Uhaul and put it in my truck in the morning. We couldn't get it up the stairs.
I'm not bitching. I didn't have to move anything into the apartment and they did it all. Hell, I still haven't seen the apartment as they made about 4 trips there and back while I was gone.
It's still stupid.Considering how much Uhaul charges by the mile you might want to sell the desk.
Desk wasn't worth the refueling cost much less the Uhaul.

I was talking to an aggie season ticket holder who says they have also been hammered with what they call "special assessments" over the last several years. I think that concludes this year or next. We shall see.

the texas usc gm will have rain .. backup QB for USC, too much Texas turmoil. It's a hot mess of a gamble.
In this instance. For this season. It's not a gamble for me. We need a need a win and I am notoriously bad a picking winners so I am picking USC and getting 3 points. If Texas covers I will be ecstatic. If they lose, I will be furious but make a couple bucks. It's the perfect line against a perfect opponent for me for this game.

I wouldn't touch Texas-USC with a ten foot pole.
I would. I am playing USC for at least a unit. At least I will get something out of a terrible loss. I would gladly pay a unit for the horns to cover 3 points in this game. Maybe more.
