Tailing Stanford Steve on a couple small plays:
Air Force +9.5
Army -9.5
UTEP/UNLV Over 55
These were solid. Tailed on these and went 6-2 yesterday losing the CMU and WMich plays.

I’m getting really close to not planning my Saturdays around Texas football anymore.
Shit, I said this last week.
-
-
Added CMU down to -3. I couldn't resist at that number.

That said, UCLA can put up a good fight, OU might have a "rout hangover" from last week, so maybe...
Who the fuck am I kidding? It's UCLA. Okalhoma by 21+.
And I hope I'm wrong as shit and fuck OU nevertheless.0u has a coach who knows how to win period.
Serenity now!

Don't choke a rabbit!
FIGHT.
-
My early games:
UH -3.5
UH -2.5 for half
Western Mich +28
UCLA +29.5
I post these so you can all do the opposite and win some money.

That "expert" on Gameday picked Kansas to cover at 3.5.
My line is 3.5 but I am laying off. Just too much movement for me.
-
CMU is down to 3.5 lot of movement in that line.

-
Not a good start coming off a rough year. I am going to tiptoe into this first week.
-
ATL - PK
ATL - TT over 22.5

As someone who has to do this with a loved one last year. I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Prayers for you and your family. Fuck Cancer.

It still blows me away that Ed fucking orgeron has enough swamp ass brains in him to fire the OC at lsu even after going 9-4 but Tom can't release tim beck after 7-5 and after he had to call the bowl game.
How do you pay someone 800K a year to call plays then take over play calling or use the excuse its a team game planning effort?
Then said ex OC from lsu beats you.
I don't think I could ever make this scenario up if I even tried.
Well when you put it that way. FUCK!!!

Looking at the overall package, Shane gives us a better passing option and Sam is more of a dual-threat.
Take your pick between more sacks given up (usually in passing situations) or more interceptions thrown.
Great info. Thank you.
Although I think the OLine has improved I am not sure it has improved enough to mitigate the number sacks. On the otherhand, which is easier? Teaching Shane to get rid of the ball and not take sacks or teaching Sam to quit throwing INTs when the pressure is on?
I know sacks are usually drive killers but INTs are always drive killers.

Our most experienced players are experienced in losing games they should win.

I’m still going to watch all the games. I hope all this looks like a wild overreaction in a few weeks.
I am too but what pisses me off is that we won't know shit, or we will believe we are shitty, for at least the next 11 days. We waited 9 months for this shit? Tulsa isn't going to convince me of anything.
Hell, even if we beat USC (which I highly doubt) I am not sure how I will feel. That is how devastating this loss is in my opinion.

What really sucks is that this team LOOKS good. They are well conditioned. They have the right attitude. They don't ever quit, even down 3 scores. It is a well coached group from that perspective.
It's just basic fucking personnel decisions that cost them. And it isn't fair to the players. I don't wanna have to rip Kyle Porter but i have to because these jackasses keep trotting him out there.
I don't know that they looked "good." I agree that there were glimpses of improvement. But here is what stood out to me as far as the game as a whole.
Look back at all the scoring. We had to be damn near perfect to score. Perfect pass or unbelievable catch. We didn't stroll into the endzone. It seemed like the whole game was a struggle for us. Maryland made it look easy. They were fluid and took advantage of our mistakes. We fought for every down. We gave them a lot of yardage and easy scores. At least that is how it felt watching it live.

Is it possible the team just sucks this bad and it’s not mostly coaching? Sam cant throw and no vision. Colin can’t block. O lone can’t block. We just suck as players first and for most. Coaches aren’t helping with play calling and personnel decisions but which one is the biggest problem. Shitty players with only one year of toms players or shitty coaches and decent players?
I don't give a shit if its the chicken or the egg. From what I saw on Saturday you could get food poisoning from either one. I want a new menu.

Sam got sacked once in 39 attempts.
Watch that video and honestly assess how many times Shane would have been sacked. I say about 6 times.
Shane is a career 62% passer. Sam is 57%. I wouldn't trade more sacks for a +5% completion rate.
Honest question. What is the interception rate?

Texas 43
Tulsa 7

How long has this been going on?
I don't know but I have decided to stop planning my Saturdays around Longhorn football games. Don't get me wrong, I will still watch but this is sucking the excitement out of the season and its the first damn game.

This is just exhausting.
