  1. That was an awesome game last night.  Happy for the Caps/Ovi and have some DC friends that probably aren't making it to work today.  Knights were a good story but really didn't want them winning it all.   Fans need to go through years of disappointment to really appreciate winning it all.

  2. If true, I'm sure the A's are hedging the $$ with insurance but just a ridiculous unnecessary risk of a draft pick.  Makes zero sense why they wouldn't demand that he focus 100% on baseball with that kind of investment.  More power to him if he was actually able to dictate those terms but just stupid on the A's part.

  3. I saw the BMG in Dallas years ago and thought it was relatively lame.   Not sure if better in Vegas.   My wife and I were fans of the Michael Jackson cirque show.     For tix, book online or go to the 50% discount booth and see if anything that seems interesting is discounted.

  4. See Homeland I almost put into the Sons of Anarchy category.  I'm hanging on but barely.   It was awesome for a season or so then started jumping the shark.  Rome was awesome but cut way too short which drops it down for me.  Agree GOT will likely edge Americans out but can't really call it until it's done.

Man it’s not even in my top 30

I don't even know if I can name 30 series I watched from start to finish.   Way too many fall into the category like Sons of Anarchy mentioned above where it started out solid then went to shit and I gave up.  One of the great things about this series was they ended it at the right time. And to be clear, when I say top 4, I'm talking about dramas, not shows like Seinfeld, etc..

I broke down and ordered from one of the online retailers that doesn't make you order a 10 pack.  Shipped yesterday, here tomorrow via USPS.  Will see if it is any help this weekend.

    Where did you find?

I would probably put it one notch lower, behind Justified. That is just for the drama shows.

Cheers is my number one TV show of all time.

Justified still on my to do list.

  8. Definitely don't know how this show flew so far under the radar.  After thinking about it now that it's finished, it's probably #4 on my list (after The Wire, Breaking Bad and Sopranos).

Well it lacked tension, in my opinion

Man I just disagree.  The garage scene with Stan was like 15 minutes and I don't think I moved an inch.  Obviously reasonable minds can disagree but after digesting it a little more I think it was pretty damn close to perfect (writing, acting, directing, music, etc.).  Want to watch it again over the weekend.

I just wanted to be on the edge of my seat during some crazy insane escape scene. I was disappointed

That's not what this show was.  Sure it had some of that, but it was always ancillary to the real story which was (correctly IMO) featured in the finale.

  11. I agree with what appears to be the majority on here and thought it was an awesome finale.  Not what I expected but Philip and Elizabeth "getting away with it" while simultaneously losing what really mattered to them at the end and living alone in a home they don't recognize feels like the perfect end to the series.   Glad they didn't take the easy route most finales take with a major shootout/primary character death as most expected.     This has definitely been one of the best shows on TV the past few years and is easily in my top 10 (probably top 5).  Really going to miss it.

  12. Paige dies, Philip turns himself in, Elizabeth escapes back to Russia but is imprisoned by those loyal to the Center, Stan lays it all out for Henry and Henry disowns his family/refuses to speak to his father, Stan tries to get a deal cut for Oleg but Oleg gets stuck in American prison.
