Well it lacked tension, in my opinion

Man I just disagree.  The garage scene with Stan was like 15 minutes and I don't think I moved an inch.  Obviously reasonable minds can disagree but after digesting it a little more I think it was pretty damn close to perfect (writing, acting, directing, music, etc.).  Want to watch it again over the weekend.

I just wanted to be on the edge of my seat during some crazy insane escape scene. I was disappointed

That's not what this show was.  Sure it had some of that, but it was always ancillary to the real story which was (correctly IMO) featured in the finale.

  3. I agree with what appears to be the majority on here and thought it was an awesome finale.  Not what I expected but Philip and Elizabeth "getting away with it" while simultaneously losing what really mattered to them at the end and living alone in a home they don't recognize feels like the perfect end to the series.   Glad they didn't take the easy route most finales take with a major shootout/primary character death as most expected.     This has definitely been one of the best shows on TV the past few years and is easily in my top 10 (probably top 5).  Really going to miss it.

  4. Paige dies, Philip turns himself in, Elizabeth escapes back to Russia but is imprisoned by those loyal to the Center, Stan lays it all out for Henry and Henry disowns his family/refuses to speak to his father, Stan tries to get a deal cut for Oleg but Oleg gets stuck in American prison.

It's time the "experts" admit the reason why the Warriors are struggling running their offense is the Houston defense is forcing them out of it. With the switching, in your face swager, and the bumps off the cuts, Houston has broken their will to run it. Klay, Curry, and Durant don't like getting hit and the Rockets are hitting them every time they move. They are getting beat up by Ariza, Tucker, Paul, even Harden and Gordon are letting the Warriors players know they are there coming off those screens and cuts.

It's also time to put to bed the myth that Golden State gave away games in this series by getting lazy because the competition in their eyes was lacking. If you are in the Western Conference finals, and you are being lazy, then you are a fucking mentally weak team.

I agree with this.  I've never liked Houston and have hated CP3 and Harden their entire careers, but no doubt that Houston has flat out been tougher these last 2 games.  Neither team has particularly played well, but Houston definitely mentally tougher.   And I flat out love the way PJ Tucker is playing.  Dude is leaving it all out on the court and a huge factor these last 2 games.  One of my fav longhorns.    I hope CP is healthy so we can see what this GS team has with back against the wall.  It's amazing to me how much non-factors KD and SC have been down the stretch these  last 2 games.

I disagree. If you say or do some shit, and worry that people will find out that you said or did that, you shouldn’t have and you should be exposed.

The owner’s entire approach is a huge fuck up, they deserve any personal blame and bad bullshit that stems from how they’re acting and what they’re saying.

Total power move on the players’ part. Kudos.

I've generally been on the players side of this stupid debate, but that's a private business meeting someone leaked to the press.  That's bullshit and unprofessional.  Good luck getting the owners to sit down and have a dialogue again without FBI level security screening.

  7. What I'm hearing as well.  They have a lot of work to do before next year.  I don't care how cool or different of a course it is, I don't see the tournament succeeding without attracting the casual golf fan (if you can even call it that) primarily there for the event/party.   I enjoy the golf aspect and will likely go when in town regardless, but vast majority of those I know that typically attend fall into the other category.

  8. So what was the consensus for those that made it out this weekend?  Did the Cluster F continue?   Was out of town but kind of glad to miss year 1.   Hopefully they can learn and turn it into a fun event to attend.
