I mean... if we go like 15-3 and make the tournament final I could see us nabbing a 2. We'd have to finish over one of KU or Baylor with maybe a 1-1 split with both.

Remaining conf record 13-3. Like you said with 4 games vs KU/Baylor, would mean they split and get a win against one of them. Plus Conf Tourney wins, would put them at something like 27(28 w Tenn win)-5 with a resume of wins over potential ranked opponents (KU or Bay, 2 vs Iowa St, 2 vs Tech, and another possible vs Tenn). That's pretty solid, imo! 2/3 seed very likely

Absolutely true. It is not a good venue. Cavernous in many respects. This adversely affects capacity and noise level. Viewing experience is terrible. Too far away from court. Wood is dingy yellow. Decor and lighting is totally drab. I cannot imagine an easier place for an opponent.

Except when you’re facing crazy D. Then none of the above shit matters. Huggy is mad at his team. But he’s right.

Physical/Visual issues aside...once the novelty wears off, how much will the opening of the new arena help with the in game atmosphere (or lack thereof)?

Even if he does shorten it, I don't see Jase getting excluded. Who knows.

I'd be fine with his minutes getting cut and removing him from the rotation now that we're in conference. He's not a must play every night by any means. He should only play out of necessity (foul trouble and/or injury) from here on out!

Yes right after the report comes out silas is on the hot seat it made no sense. Why would a coach be on the hot seat when everyone know we were a 2-3 year tank for picks rebuild? Since then what’s our record? Like 8-2? So not sure what the FO wants for the season.

Tells me whatever source put that report out is probably full of Sh!t and had no clue what they were talking about in regards to the Rockets specifically

well i don't think anyone here was actually suggesting that trade, we just started talking about it because the trade machine said that it would technically work. i think the bigger, two part conversation is about a)how will the Pacers go about disbanding their team (because that's going to happen), and b)is GS a player when it comes to acquiring guys like Turner or Sabonis.

While I agree they're stale and boring, I'm not so sure that isn't exactly who they want to be! And honestly i don't tend to follow them just for the reasons you just laid out here...so where would you say their roster's deficient?

They seem to be middle to upper middle of the pack in many team statistical categories. Just a middle of road kind of squad - sans rebounding. They're amongst the best in the league on the glass!

I'm not sure if it's a possibility or not as I don't work in either FO and these things are hard to gauge.

I'm sure they would give up Wiseman for Sabonis. The numbers and value don't really work unless you throw in Kuminga though (which the Ws are not doing) - or do Wiggins and Wiseman for Sabonis and someone else.

I mean these 2 work numbers wise but I'm not sure how realistic they are.

Indiana's getting swindled if they make either of those moves. GS would be set-up to have another 4/5 year like they had from 2016-19!

will be will always be one of the worst defenders in the NBA

Eh...Luka is far from a lock down defender himself. He has the ability to be a good defender, but his effort defensively is kinda reminiscent of Harden's!

They didn't have many wide open 3s, most were contested, but yeah it was still awful shooting. Just one of those nights.

In the 2nd Half you could see that Tech just sagged into the paint and allowed Tenn to brick away - at least until they made the one at the end to send the game to OT. In OT they started to come out a bit more. Tech on the other hand had Tenn up on them pretty much from jump.

But as they say, styles make fights - seems like both teams probably look to create their offense by way of their defense. Unfortunately for them they were both looking into the mirror at themselves and those opportunities were few and far between. Think we learned that neither has a post option they can throw the ball into for a good look or many if any pure shooters offensively!
