  1. What's the simplified version of how states are determined to owe the federal governemnt. For example, if California passed a law that said they were legally required to build and maintain a 500 billion dollar fund for natural disaster relief, does that mean they can stop sending federal money to the United States every year until they have that slush fund? I'm sure there are ways California can skirt having to pay the federal government what they pay, but honestly I have no fucking clue. Enlighten me, Surl.
  2. I mean, he did. See below. Oh, it's the same churuch becuase they have the same/similar names. I guess the People's Republic of China is actually a Republic.
  3. Well, that will do it. These days that gets you lynched.
  4. Of course he's some dipshit in his 20's with no life experience.
  5. So why are the crazies so upset with currrent leadership? She do something indecently to do her job?
  6. Because everyone has seen you and your wife naked.

  8. Probably get charged with treason in the next few weeks…
  9. I’m open to another interpretation but I don’t see one myself.
  10. I wonder when we're going to see some posters start the "Turntine to TE" movement?
  11. I'll take a stab; he felt the need to be a huge fucking cunt. Like mocking someone who found out they just got cancer.
  12. He lives in San Diego, so I hope you're down with fish.
  13. The guy in the gif isn't David Beckham. And I was referring to the ability of soccer places to curve their shots. Now you just want to know where he goes for lunch.
  14. By kicking it around him. They even made a movie about it with a young Keira Knightley and everything.
  15. Yeah. You should ask her what she's going to think if Trump is succesful in repealing medicare.
  16. The best past about this is that, whether or not Texags stop bringing on Hart, the fact that he had to go through this exercise at ALL has to sour the fuck out of him. If I were him, I would 100% be sharpening by backhanded compliments as it relates to Texas A&M in every single game going forward. You can't deal with this shit and not alter your perception of a school and it's fans. And that shit bleeds through from every broadcaster I've ever listened to as well. They whine and moan all the time about how Texas owns the media and dictates all media narratives, and then they go out and literally piss of a national broadcast media guy, and they wonder why they get drug by everyone. They fucking do it to themselves, not just on the field, but in every other possible way managable. "Why is our fanbase so full of snowflakes?" They're so close to fucking getting it, but of course they never will...
  17. Selective enforcement can be a thing, sure, but there's no such thing as selective believing, at least on the part of the immigrants in this scenario. And by that, I mean, sure, Trump can say behind closed doors he won't raid the chicken plant, or the hog farm, or the state of Florida, but what he can't do is go on TV and say "Listen, we're not going to target illegals that work in x, y, and z industry." So guess who isn't still going to show up for fucking work? Or guess who's going to get arrested in their homes instead of at work? And another thing to consider is Trump is 82, and he's succesfully avoided jail. If he doesn't die in office, he's already safe, and that's if we don't "elect" him again for a third term. This guy doesn't need campaign donations anymore. He probably doesn't care about them. And what would someone do, try to report that they bribed Trump but he didn't follow through? He's untouchable at this point save the hand of another Luigi.
  18. Frame it as a question. "Dude, don't you think it would be much easier to move to one of those states than to expect to create change in a state that has showed little interest in doing so?"
  19. Good point. NOw that I think about it my preferred brands of milk were also super low. What does chicken usually cost? The HEB natural was like 4.50 a lb, and that feels high? Have to assume that they'll just stop updating this website shortly: https://www.bls.gov/cpi/
  20. You should tell him that. And you should suggest that he move to one of those blue states that take care of the disabled.
  21. As was mine this week, which is in the Heights are of Houston. The shelves were completely bare, regardless of brand more or less, and the guy was restocking as I was there so I grabbed a dozen just becuase. Also, the price was up 50% compared to the last time I got eggs a few weeks ago. I'm guessing this is the situation at every HEB in Texas at this point.
  22. Well he’s threatening to sue or pull licenses for news agencies/networks that say bad things about them. And news is a for profit industry nowadays. Can’t make money if Trump takes you off the air.
  23. Do we think bird flu will not only jack up the price of eggs, it also chicken as well? I haven’t been to the store yet but I’m more inclined than usual to pay attention to the costs. It will be interesting to see if we get red meat shortages, how the costs of ever other substitute will behave. And by interesting, I mean “this will suck.” Sadly, at this point, even if we use bare store shelves I fully don’t expect the media to even blame trumps policies. Certainly not on Fox News.
