  1. The theory I've thrown around is Willis threw hundreds of thousands of dollars in government work/money at this guy, as some kind of contractor (assuming that is true) and then he paid for all of their vacations/hotels/etc. Which looks like she's enriching herself on the money she doled out. Im basing my takes off of this article: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/02/fani-willis-stakes-too-high.html
  2. Not a lawyer. It's a real big fucking problem. It's going to taint the entire fucking case.
  3. That's a great spot. We've been there 3-4 times. Lots of space and a playground for kids, lots of shade under the live oaks, pretty solid beer, lots of food options. Highly reccomend.
  4. The Hill Country of Texas is a pretty big vacation area, man. There's like 8 wineries, 8 breweries, and 3-5 distilleries in that area.
  5. It’s not hard to figure out you’re sniffing ledge dust and projecting your worst fears. imagine living in a world where a huge fundraising advantage with a year out, donors souring on Trump, a year of strong fundraising ahead, and Trump mired in legal woes as a bad thing.
  6. So now you’re ignoring corporate ad greed and don’t think they’ll seek a better deal if Biden offers?
  7. I mean, we’re still doing our best to exclude blacks, college students, etc.
  8. This makes zero sense, you think the candidate who is going to need last minute dollars will swoop in and find the money at the last minute, and it will be substantially more then the guy with a several hundred million head start, and who also still has a year to campaign and plenty of money out there aligned against Trump? Trump ups his bid, the companies go back to Biden and they up their bid. Because they have more money and no legal fees.
  9. What she should do is promise to do a free concernt in every state that goes blue.
  10. I'm a 44 year old who never saw a world in which Ed Hardy was cool. That was also part of the joke. See above.
  11. I was at an airport gate watching the Oilers blow that game to the bills, after following the game on the radio getting to the airport, and the pain will never truly go away, so this hits close to him. But I'm glad I don't have to shave my back.
  12. That was the point of the joke. It really hit home to me when I was flipping through, and a Houston Classic Rock station started playing Nirvana and Submline. Folks need to accept that we're old. Don't be that old motherfucker in his 50's wearing Ed Hardy and only lifting upper body muscle groups so they can look bad ass wearing some affliction jeans because they think that makes them still look young and cool. Yes, I realize that about 30% of this board is now probably doing the fucking eye side to side gif. As they should.
  13. I'm guessing a PAC can't pay for a judgement legally...?
  14. When we stopped being in our late 20's and early 30's.
  15. I'm guessing that the GM role has more responsibilites and a pay raise, and it wasn't as simple as matching the offer. That's what my non-informed gut says here. And often you can't restructure until a change is made in an organization of size, so maybe Sark is using this blow to force a restructing in our favor. That's my pure sunshine take on this, which is probably nowhere near to reality.
  16. No thanks. Wadlington and at this point, his shtick, irritates as many people as those who enjoy it, like me. I don't really enjoy being able to taste someone's narcissm and self-importance through a keyboard. And as others said, he's not great in video either. It's almost like when he sometimes has to speak off the cuff and not have hours and days to carefuly curate their quips and comparisons the quality suffers. As others said, Kelson is an IT loyalist.
  17. Dude, I understand your point, but that chart tells a wildly different story to me than it does to you. The guy at the top, who got the lions share, is now at zero and operating at about zero month to month thanks to legal fees. The rest of those #s dramatically get smaller, and fast, the more you go down the list, and all the ad slots are being bought up by Biden...and all the Pro Biden PACS. Can they get money, sure? But what time are they going to buy if it's already paid for and off the market? You may have saved up enough for a down payment on a home, but what do you do when there isn't any inventory?
  18. What makes you say that? If nothing else, as i think someone else linked, Biden is flush and is already buying adtime for the back half of 2024, eating up all the available ad slots.
  19. Id say it was a joke, but I don't think robots understand humor.
  20. I mean, yeah, if you can find details, do it. But I didn't realize dating apps posted last names. I think they key here is you said "After the first date." Your roommate had to go on a date and get a last name, right? Or they had to give last name before they went on the first date in an email or message, right? My point was, last I chicked which was admittedly a long while, dating profiles didn't have last names listed, phone numbers, emails, or links to social media profiles. For security reasons, an also becuase, well, the dating app wants people using them to communicate. But at somepoint, someone had to offer up a name. Sure, then it's fair game. But unless things have changed, it's hard to do a background check BEFORE you go on the first date. Co workers, or friends of friends, chuch or class or folks who meet some other more old school, organic way? Sure, it's wide open.
  21. Most folks date through Apps, and social media links aren’t offered up as a first step for research. People are filtering through bios and DMs. At least I think. You don’t blast your socials to strangers, that’s like writing your phone # on your forehead. Plus you can bypass said dating Apps. there are conservative dating apps, however. Probably liberal ones too.
  22. I’m guessing like 60-70% of female nurses. How close am I? I’m basing this entirely on the amount of anti vax nurses we encountered during Covid.
  23. This isn't that surprising. He's a "libertarian," and grew up as a kid in the Disney wholesome world when that actually ment something. He's also a huge gun guy. Then again, he moved to Canada so, maybe that's rubbed off on him.
