  1. nuno left and somehow they play an even less exciting style of futbol.
  2. good article outlining where conte stands. it'll be fun looking for a new manager again next summer. https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/conte-paratici-levy-lloris-transfer-22736378
  3. so, trust the corches? what have you seen from n’dombele over the course of his time with spurs to warrant any coach or fan believing in him at this point?
  4. that’s why he’s still at palace.
  5. he’s been a head coach before at multiple stops. he should have figured this out by now. you know who else won 8-9 games and pulled top 5 classes? mensa. sark’s problem is that he is not a good coach.
  6. is it? he was hired to be the head coach at the university of texas. the highest-value use of his time would be to figure out how to be good at that job. if that path includes abdicating some of his head coaching responsibilities, it’s a tacit admission that he should never have been hired for the role in the first place.
  7. so he should go back to being an OC instead of a HC. got it.
  8. probably wishcasting at this point: https://247sports.com/Article/Texas-AM-Jimbo-Fisher-emphatically-shoots-down-interest-in-LSU-coaching-vacancy-175430550/
  9. he’s already created a legacy by being the first texas coach since 1956 to lose five in a row and the only one to ever lose to fucking kansas at DKR. and you know who else scored 49 or more on kansas this year? coastal carolina and duke. gtfoh.
  10. phil’s thumb drive also included proof of a completed hyperloop from atascocita to eugene.
  11. or they could just sign jack wilshere.
  12. it's not ridiculous to identify and call out trendlines when they are spotted. in his first year sark has a realistic shot at doubling the amount of losses that got herman fired. if sark was a coaching upgrade you'd expect him to at least hold serve in that department. but i guess username checks out and all of that.
  13. sure it would have. we'd have had way more chances to see spurs bungle it in the final third instead of just bungling it in midfield.
  14. he also probably thought spurs would sign traore.
  15. nobody wants to come manage with levy and paratici pulling the strings. a conte hire and we'll just be doing this again in 18 (or less) months.
  16. no reputable sources have reported this.
  17. he was a good take and will probably (maybe?) be good for them eventually in his final season. but the general sentiment around here seems to be that the portal is the way to magically solve the o-line problems next season and those expectations should probably be tempered. morris was the best OL portal guy last season, a two-year SEC starter and is struggling to make an impact this year. the majority of portal OL guys are JAGs that couldn’t find consistent playing time at their previous schools.
