He’s in the doghouse. Behavior issues with the coaches. Issues in the locker room with a lot of the other players this week.

Low snap count for disciplinary issues.

Yeah and Burke was hurt because he was getting tackled every fucking play and the play before he got tackled and then the guy jumped on his back when he was half down on the ground.

Again, if we can get to the QB and draw holding calls against Bama, why can't we do it against big12 opponents? Because this conference is rigged against us.

What does that have to do with whether Holgo called a time out or not?

Holgorsen said the sideline ref told him  they reviewed it and he didn't make it, so he didn't call timeout.  Not sure I believe that but that's what he said.

He didn't need to call a time out - there was injury time out (I think it was Burke).

  4. A paradigm shift implies that there is a single paradigm, whereas ADs take several approaches. Sometimes with a proven coach (Texas hiring Mack Brown), sometimes an assistant (OU hiring Stoops, Georgia), sometimes it's based on an existing relationship (Dabo at Clemson, Freeman at ND), sometimes a conman needs a soft landing (Jimbo). It's almost always a crap shoot.

It's okay to watch videos but not to go to the games? It's only okay to watch videos if someone else takes them? What if the game is on TV - can you not watch it? Is it okay to watch it but not record it?

Just ask Jimbo - it's always better watching live.

ya'll are more confident than i, which makes me feel better.  however, i urge caution.  we cannot overlook them because we cannot afford another loss.  every team left on the schedule is capable of beating us, including the cougs.  they remind me of cu - all heart and no talent.

They lost to Rice. And got blown out by TCU and TTU. I'm not sure they have heart or talent.

Basically, UH sucks. I mean, occasionally they will have his football teams but it’s a second rate institution of questionable higher learning, in the ghetto, where everyone commutes to school and then heads back to their parents basement when the school day is over.

Who has a basement in Houston?

It's the off week and I'm petty.....

Remember when a bunch of posters thought Card was better than Quinn? And this is after Purdue's played Fresno State, V-Tech, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Wait till after OSU and Michigan roll through.

Meh. This is a case of the portal working out well for both sides. I hope Card kicks ass against OSU and Michigan.

  9. I haven't watched OU at all this year, but so far this season doesn't look that different than last season. Last year they won their first three games by 30+, including a road win against Nebraska, and were ranked in the top 10. And then lost at home to the first good team they played (KSU). So far, it seems the biggest difference between this year and last year is an easier schedule through 5 games.

That damn long 3rd qtr drive that Wyoming had just can't happen this week.

Why not? They held the ball for most of the quarter and settled for 3 points. Then immediately gave up a touchdown. Sark's approach is straight out of soccer - absorb pressure then score on a counter attack. "ToP-a-dope?" Wyoming held the ball for almost 40 minutes. And lost by 21. Baylor held the ball for 33 minutes and lost by 32.

Anyone have numbers on how guys saw the field last night on defense? pK was doing heavy heavy rotations after the 1st quarter.

The substitution patterns drove me crazy last year. I think it was against Tech at one point we needed a stop on 4th and 2 and brought Blackwell in. It's paid off though. There's not much drop off from the starters this year. And time of possession is essentially meaningless. Wyoming held the ball for 40 minutes and I don't think anyone on defense played more than 45 snaps. No one's going to wear this defense out.
