  1. Well, if I'M here and YOU'RE here, doesn't that make this OUR time?
  2. Damn! Add Kenyatta's mom to the milf list.
  3. Bro. I watched that in my 4th grade class room, and yes it is too soon.
  4. No way this is happening at Florida State. I refuse to believe it.
  5. If we didn’t have you to worry about the “fat fucks” whatever would we do? You are so noble and caring Fletch. Thanks for teaching us all!!!
  6. At least college football is still the most interesting thing to happen since the pandemic hit.
  7. The head coach at Valdosta State (Ga.) was on this local radio this morning talking about testing and said that he had 308 personnel that need testing. At current status he had to test 25% once every two weeks. I think he said all 308 needed to be tested 2 times weekly to play football. That's money Valdosta State doesn't have, and they won the national championship 2 years ago.
  8. I love how everything in life has to be somebodies fault. Now, of course it isn't China's fucking fault for unleashing this awful virus on the world, but it is the fault of anyone who had skepticism about the seriousness of this disease. Anyone that didn't think that this virus would exist for 18 to 24 months in some shape or form is an absolute fucking moron. Had the entire population sown masks to their faces in February, we would still have college football at risk this fall. Do you seriously think if we locked the whole country down in March, we would just go back to life as normal in time for college football to kick off? Are you that stupid?
  9. Well done sir. Well done.
  10. So he agrees with his coach then? Lesson learned?
  11. I don't know any college football players with it, but my 44 year old friend died from Covid this Monday morning at 5am. I've known the guy since I was old enough to ride a bike, and went to Key West with him in January. He was a heavy guy since the first day I knew him, played DT on our HS football team. He was a veterinarian and was in pretty good health overall, but used a CPAP or snored like a madman when he slept. I don't know of any other pre-existing conditions he may have had. He checked into the hospital on July 9th and his situation roller coastered until he went on a vent on the 17th. 3 days later he was dead. I don't consider it "just the flu" and I hope that is a good enough example of real life for you. I have a "life long condition" of living the rest of mine without a close friend. Pray that you don't get to experience how real this thing is like me and my friends.
  12. Can we start talking about this yet? Because in all honesty this is what is likely to happen, and we will be one of the lucky few to have our top tier QB come back rather than just go pro. He is very Tebow-esque in his abilities at the CFB level not translating to the pros. It will also give us time to figure out WR and our RBs will get a year to lift and get bigger and healthier. It also gives us a year to do a full install on the new systems. I mean, no football this year will suck royally, but we would set up well for a full skipped season.
  13. Which illustrates that we support LGBT as well. So, good all the way around.
  14. Good to see Overshown and others giving positive reactions. Any word from Eagles? He and Overshown had the strongest stances that I saw.
  15. The comment after the Kindle sack may be the most aggy comment after. Something along the lines of "he is trying to salvage a senior year, really a just dissapointing career as an aggy after coming to BCS as a highly rated recruit"
  16. oh, the irony...
  17. We need exactly this to happen so Superman can go back and strangle the life out of patient zero. Also reminds me of something I saw saying that time travel will never be invented, because if it was, all of the time travelers would have arrived trying to stop 2020 from happening.
  18. I'm no medical professional, but is that guy from Utah saying that people that caught it, but hardly even knew it, are somehow at a risk of getting it again and "next time" it will do real damage? I mean, doesn't that fly in the face of all medical knowledge we have to this point? I mean, the person didn't have antibodies to COVID-19 before they caught it, so why would the lack of lasting antibodies make the second time around something to be concerned about. My struggle with this thing is all of the magical powers it seems to have, like the strokes it supposedly causes that everyone was up in arms about a month or two ago. What happened to those? It seems like we are throwing everything that we know about medicine out the window because of this novel coronavirus. I get that it is serious, and it isn't "just the flu". But that doesn't change the fact that it is a coronavirus, and almost every human on the planet has been infected by one of those at some point.
  19. He was defending the temporary aggy sacred land in Lubbock just like they defend their sacred grass and sacred statues.
  20. I get most of my news from Surly
  21. I am already kicking myself for jumping into this shit flinging contest, but how in the hell do you link that tweet to school shootings?
  22. This is where I am as well. Focusing on cases at this point also misses the point entirely. Clemson football has around 25% of their team infected by COVID. I am guessing that most of them would never know that they had it unless they were forced to do the test. How many others are doing the same type of thing before they let employees return to offices? I have no idea how many, but it would seem like a significant group of people are being tested that are not showing symptoms right now. Hospitalization was the reason for flattening the curve. It should be the metric we are all following now. I know the limitations with HIPAA, but a generalization of hospital stats should be what we focus on as decisions are made. Monitoring deaths still matters obviously, but it is a lagging indicator.
  23. No doubt. Scam is the one who pulled back the veil on the cheating in the SEC and everyone seemed to just shrug their shoulders. Fuck that piece of shit and his daddy too.
