  1. Donated to a political campaign for the first time ever. Steve Bullock, Alan Gross, Theresa Greenfield, Jaime Harrison, Mike Espy, and even Doug Jones (mostly cause of Bama Chick) got some money. I don’t think my contributions are going to put anyone over the line, but it just makes me feel better to think maybe, just maybe, I had a little to do with these GOP assholes going down.
  2. So we should be watering the forest in addition to raking it? Does he think it’s like a golf course and you just install some Rainbirds? This guy is so fucking dumb.
  3. Not to mention that NV keeps sucking in Californians and Latinos, two groups that are definitely not on the Trump train. Nevada is basically where Colorado was 2-4 years ago, and is about 2-4 years ahead of Arizona from a voting trend perspective.
  4. The other problem with the Trump denials is that there is video and tweets of Trump calling McCain a loser for being captured. “I like my war heroes not captured” is what he said (or something close to that, I’m too lazy to look up the exact quote). Is it really that big of a leap to see him calling the men and women who died on the battlefield “losers”? He has shown who he is through his words and actions, and when someone shows you who they are, believe them.
  5. Time zones, how do they work Doh. Still it would explain his tweets much better if they were 3:30am meth/adderall fueled rage tweets.
  6. Tweeting at 3:29am? Someone got into the Adderall stash again! Or maybe Jr’s stash...
  7. Probably not...
  8. It’s like he’s not even good at lying any more, which was one of his only skill sets*: But Trump did describe McCain as a loser, citing his capture by enemy forces. "I like people who weren't captured," Trump said at an Iowa summit during his presidential campaign in 2015, adding that, "I don't like losers." * edit: also grifting. Grifting is his other skill set
  9. I realize that California is not in question, but the LA Times has a new statewide poll showing how much Dotard is despised here: https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2020-08-04/trumps-base-erodes-new-poll-california Biden leads Trump in California by 39 percentage points, 67% to 28%, the poll found. That’s 9 points larger than the margin by which Hillary Clinton beat Trump statewide in 2016 — a record at the time. And the share of Californians who approve of Trump’s performance in office, which has held steady in the mid-to-low 30% range for nearly his entire tenure, has now ticked downward to just 29%.
  10. I realize this was written in (somewhat) jest but if you are truly concerned with “abuses of the presidency when it comes to their political rivals” there is no way you would ever ever pull the lever for Putin’s puppet.
  11. The whole Trump gang is just full of dirtbags, not that this is a news flash. https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2020-07-19/roger-stone-calls-black-radio-host-racial-slur-in-interview
  12. Yeah I’m in Glendale, CA 28. CA 25 is the only local Congressional district in Republican hands that I’m aware of. I think we may be seeing these ads since we have YouTube TV. That’s the only reason I can think of for seeing these ads.
  13. .....any minute now....
  14. Lol no. My congressman is Schiff. Of course in LA there are a dozen congressional districts in the ABC market but almost all of them are Dems. I guess the money/donation angle makes sense but these ads have no call to action, just “look how great Trump’s agenda is”. Hey, if they want to waste their money here go for it.
  15. Alright, I must be missing something here. Why are Donald Trump ads showing up here in L.A. during local news on KABC (the local ABC station)? Why the fuck are they spending money in July on a state they are going to lose by a gazillion? Ok, it may be some PAC or something, but the question remains: what are they trying to accomplish?
  16. Shhhh Hillary.
  17. This is the kind of “sales” tactic that timeshare pitches use — peer pressure + artificially short timelines. So basically the Trump campaign is like buying 2 weeks per year in Del Boca Vista, except the Trump name is on it, so you know it costs more than it should and the quality is shit. Oh, and you’ll have to pay to get out of it.
  18. If I’m Puerto Rican I’d be pretty excited about being traded to Denmark at this point.
  19. Are you allowed to refuse an endorsement?
  20. Judging by Dotard’s tweets the country is in terrible shape. Man, the current president must be an incompetent moron...
  21. That’s cool ‘cause I heard Covid doesn’t impact Mormons or Southerners. So I’m sure ESPN will be lining up opponents for you this year...
  22. It actually would be a large circle and a very tiny circle inside of it. Because the only person he loves is himself.
