  1. We've been irrelevant in college football for 8+ years.   Pathetic doesn't begin to describe that.  Maybe abysmal does.  Actually, pathetic better suits it.

You need a (somewhat) transcendent QB to change that.  But we haven't had it, and don't this season.  Whether being overweight, injury prone, lacking playmaking capability. accuracy or a combination of all, our QB position is still just so underwhelming.    Nothing tonight changes that opinion.

Forget about them winning games this season. Wishful thinking is that the QB position doesn't lose games. That didn't go our way last year so not sure why I should feel better about things this season.

And my God can Galindo be more of a douche?  Doubtful.

That seems a little extreme but it’s not great. I’d put Bouldin Creek far above it in the vegetarian restaurant cat; that chipotle pecan pesto is so fucking good.

Yeah, there's a lot of good food at Bouldin Creek.  It doesn't need to be sold as a vegetarian restaurant.   It's good and fresh.  And that's a go-to regardless of classification.

  3. If you're starting with a Migas taco in Austin then you need to start with that at Maria's.  The rest of their menu is hit and miss but when their cook Chino throws that migas mix on the grill, with the cheddar directly on the grill, cooked all nice and crispy, it's damn near Heaven.

  4. 246- 15.   Four Black Saturdays in Dallas.

The worst losses in the history of Texas football.   Brown did some good things but those unbridled cluster fucks will never go away.

All this discussion and no one has mentioned the Bike Mafia?

Dude, ratchet down a bit.  You do realize that bikes were important enough to provide for a Director of Bicycling within our city government, at $90K / year.

This was 4 or 5 years ago.  Wouldn't surprised me if the nut jobs that run our city still have this position on the payroll.  But now at 6 figures.

  6. Yes, "drifted" into an oncoming lane.  Ugh.

Two people who died in a collision on U.S. 290 West in southwest Travis County on Wednesday afternoon have been identified.

Jory Mayer, 21, and Carol Ann Larue, 58, both died when their SUVs slammed into each other head-on around 4:24 p.m. at Signal Hill Drive, near the Travis-Hays county line.

Mayer was headed east on the highway in a Nissan Rogue when the vehicle drifted into the center turn lane, then into oncoming traffic.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

  7. Man, someone needs to help me remember the name of the cafe in that little strip center at the SE corner of Oltorf and South 1st.  Early 80's.

My dad used to take me in there pretty often and I just remember the burgers but not the name.

  8. A couple more fall victim.   Would be interesting to see how many fatalities have occurred over the last 10 years.  I try and avoid the thing at all cost.

DiVincenzo went fucking bonkers tonight.  Michigan showed how much Wagner was their only real stud.  Ugly ass game to end maybe one of the most incredible tourney's yet.  11 in the final four, 16 over a 1, lots of 7,8,9s playing deep into the tourney.  Till next year bitches.

Michigan has a lot more than Wagner.   But they just ran up against a really, really good team tonight.
