  1. Correct. I still hear people talking about it being "elite" even after giving up 500 yards in total offense to a QB who parked in a handicapped spot before the game. It's not.
  2. Yeah, USF v. UNT is a sneaky good game Friday night. Mean Green offense is a lot of fun to watch. Drew Mestemaker continues to be a great story. Prior to UNT's bowl game last season, his last QB start was for the Vandegrift freshman B team. Through 5 games this season - 70%, 1250 yards, 11 TDs, no picks.
  3. No doubt with her. She got called to the studio late at night to do the vocals - all dressed up in her pajamas and hair rollers and four months pregnant at the time. As much as I like the song I like the film just as much.
  4. Our most National Treasure(s). "Do I look sick to you?"
  5. Nice to see some progress knowing that Hunt and Ingram were / are still the worst off. Still, we'll take it. https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2025/10/07/after-months-of-flood-recovery-kerrvilles-river-trail-partially-reopens-for-first-time/
  6. The best team in the country couldn't beat Florida by 4 scores so a mediocre team shouldn't be expected to do so. Florida's got a good defense and that itself will prevent them from being completely run off the field in any game it plays. Texas isn't a good team right now. Again, it's mediocre. There are parts in place that could enable them to become a good team but the coaching staff seems to have no idea or clue on how to improve upon the many deficiencies that exist. That's the scary part.
  7. Dysfynctional teams that are almost dead last in penalties committed in the nation probably aren't organized enough to hold one of these.
  8. Shows more mobility there than he had as an NFL QB.
  9. 129th out of 136 in penalties for the season. Always a telling stat. I don't see it above but one of the more telling responses was when John Hygh asked Sarkisian: "Coach, you praised your team for how hard it fought in the second half so how do you explain not doing so in the first half after two weeks to get ready?' What was telling was that Sarkisian didn't really have a response.
  10. Yeah, it's rarely fall-like for the game. One extreme in the last couple decades give or take, pretty sure it was 2000 when it was miserable, high 40s and light rain. And then the game happened. Brown and the first of his four Black Saturdays in Dallas. Treating the game like a picnic. 246 - 65 over those four. Such fun.
  11. Do you really follow the game? It's not that hard. Dear lord.
  12. Refreshing today in this thread that there wasn't the nornal onslaught of clowns who draw upon the "oh shit, the refs fucked us, again" pillar to justify a Texas loss. Blaming officiating is and has been a beating and is pathetic. You make plays to win. Or you don't. There's idiotic face painters who will never get that and you can ID yourself on this board. Big picture, Sarkisian has a lot of holes right now - a QB who is mediocre, no RBs, an offensive line that is soft as shit and a defense, while talented, that isn't well coached. Today you saw one team that was hell bent on winning. There was another that showed up expecting to do so. Connect the dots. Texas doesn't play with any sort of urgency or chip on its shoulder and that shIt wreaks of a team still enamored with press clippings and full of entitlement. Your end result is likely a 5 or 6 loss team. I like Sarkisian but he is drawing $11MM / year. The product he's producing right now is bad.
  13. Still plenty of time to blame the officiating. Very early.
  14. Not random per the cops. https://www.tmz.com/2025/10/04/mark-sanchez-stabbed-indianapolis-critical-injury/#continued
  15. On a good day.
  16. Yeah, plus that buffoon Desmond and it's hard to get past. Ashame it's not just Davis, Herbstreit and Saban. I could listen to the latter all day. Just unparalleled football acumen.
  17. That's saying something.
  18. Meh, plenty of comfort knowing the murderer "promises the judge he will call the right people if he felt any symptoms arise".
  19. I remember when this guy went haywire outside of Gregory in 2017 and hacked up a bunch of students, killing one. He's all good now and can go hack up some more in a month or two. https://www.kxan.com/news/crime/hearing-to-determine-if-ut-stabbing-suspect-can-leave-mental-hospital/
  20. Holy shit. A gift that keeps on giving.
  21. Ching ching.
  22. He's not cheap to repair, apparently.
  23. Garza needs to quit giving out lollipops and up his game to solve crime in Austin.
  24. Ellis is challenging everyone this week. I wonder how many at City Hall are pledging to empathize. The biking piece sounds especially fun with a high in the mid 90s. On the plus side it's encouraging that Ellis does have the ability to speak. On the flip side it's probably best that she not talk at all.
