As they say, "statistics lie and liars quote statistics." Those numbers taken out of context don't really tell us anything other than that you're ignorant regarding how university admissions are processed. Those numbers are for universities as a whole. But virtually every university processes applications by school or major. So you have very different grade and test score averages for admitted students depending on their school or major. Engineering, for example, has much higher average GPAs and test scores than Psychology/liberal arts because of a higher demand for limited spots. Applicants essentially create a funneling effect by trying to gain admission to higher demand majors which then increases the average numbers for those who are admitted. If you have an ethnic group that has a cultural propensity to apply to certain majors, like Asians pursuing degrees in STEM fields, they will naturally increase the average GPA/test score of those who are admitted from that ethnic group. The higher average scores are a result of self selection towards higher demand majors, not racial preferences.

So in Chelsea craziness...
Wed/Thurs is the new deadline for Sarri.
Reports that Jorginho with Sarri negotiating is holding up the announcement of Sarri as manager.
Aleksandr Golovin has been reported as already signed, waiting for Sarri announcement.
Jean Michaël Seri is now being reported as being in London with negotiations done and waiting on Sarri to be announced. This is the player that consistently was linked but due to health reasons associated with cold weather, wouldn't move. Apparently this is no longer an issue.
Hazard is being reported as plan B if Neymar doesn't go to Real Madrid, but with Zidane out of the picture, this feels less likely.
Tbo is likely on his way to Madrid this year or next and Alisson is target 1 with Schmeichel being the back up option.
PSG after Kante, but CFC rebuffing attempts.
CFC has contacted Real Madrid about Kovacic.
Barca after Willian, CFC asking crazy money.
Oh and this guy ran practice today.
Bigfoot?

but obama once attended a controversial church.
But all that happened so long ago and he's embraced God since then (if you listen to what he said and ignore what he does) so none of that matters anymore. Didn't you get the memo?

The story itself wasn't great, but it was still a fun and hilarious movie.

Are you privy to something I'm not? That video didn't look THAT bad. He seemed more like your typical neighborhood HOA busybody going a bit crazy than a clear racist.
Your typical HOA busybody only IDing and asking the one black family whether they belong in the pool.

if belgium could pass worth a shit, it wouldn't have been this close.
If Brazil could finish (other than on their own goal) worth a shit, it wouldn't have been close.

Bobby would have finished that.
This. I still don't understand why he's starting. He doesn't win the ball in the air, he doesn't link up, he doesn't hold up, and he can't even score an open header. All he does is stand in the box and take up two defenders.

Willian playing like shit right now.

Fuck.#Chelsea have agreed a €60million move for Gonzalo Higuain and the transfer could be confirmed shortly after Maurizio Sarri takes over from Antonio Conte. [sportmediaset]

Where did you go?
Restaurant Alma and Spoon and Stable. Alma had really good drinks and food. S&S had really good food, but the drinks were lacking. The veal belly at S&S was legit and highly recommended. We actually spent most of our time at Brit's pub to watch the World Cup.

Overall, I liked it better than Season 1 (which was really only good until Cottonmouth died). I agree the first episode was useless.

Haven't seen it and, at this point, the only way I see another one of these in the theaters is if they give the dinos rocket launchers.

France with Benzema is probably up 3-0 right now. I hope blackmailing his teammate was worth sitting out for the national team and likely missing a World Cup win.
