question....got a youngster family member coming to the game...he really likes Bevo....do they unload him and walk him into the stadium? And if so where does this happen?
On Thursday or Friday the Texassports.com website will post the game day schedule and it will tell you exactly when Bevo shows up just to the southwest of the stadium for a short walk into the stadium led by the band and cheer. Highly recommend it for the kids.

When I used to vote GOP, I actually rarely voted in the general election because there was just no point. All of the GOP guys were gonna win no matter what. I'm sure some of that thinking still persists even in these crazy days.

Wow, how can one respond to such harsh truth?
More of the same. The Rs double down on embarrassing bullshit time after time.

Works for me here in Austin. Big Lloyd Maines fan.

Seeing Roger Waters tonight in Austin at the Moody Center, at least I think I am. Won two tickets months ago, and they still haven't been sent but the Moody lady says I'll get them.

Anyone know what might be going on the weekend of 11/11-13? Hotel prices are pretty steep and I don't see anything on the calendar that weekend that would seem to justify that.

Haven’t stayed there but yes that location is in the middle of everything French Quarter

Dude that shit was ridiculous. I parked in the garage next to Scholtz and traffic was a nightmare. Turned on the ac and slept in my car for 2 hours before I even attempted to leave. I also hate that Scholtz isn't open late on Saturdays anymore. Used to kill time there by knocking back a few brews while waiting for traffic to die down.
Yeah we tried to do that Saturday only to discover it was closed.

I've been in Trump Tower because it's kind of a curiosity on 5th Avenue among the stores. Just seems like another fairly modern building, doesn't really stand out other than it's actually fairly small by Manhattan standards.
And the Plaza Hotel. And it is but a former Trump property. But that's it as far as I can recall.
I wouldn't now patronize a Trump property for anything but an upper decker. Before his presidency, I had no especial animus, but no real interest either.
Agreed. Back when I went to the Chicago hotel I thought nothing of Trump. He was just a self-aggrandizing real estate guy and it was just a nice higher end hotel. Wouldn’t step into one of his places now.

Agree on Trump New York. The Chicago Tower is nice looking, though.
I stayed at the Chicago Trump a few times 10-15 years ago when Trump was just a goofy TV personality and “developer”. Tasteful modern luxury hotel - I really liked it. Clearly he played no role in the design.

Going to see Poguetry at Scoot Inn Friday night. It has two members of the Pogues plus the Lost Bayou Ramblers, so it's something more than a tribute band, something less than the real thing. Still excited to see them though.

You can also pee inside in the inside stage area by the pool table and buys drinks at that bar. It’s my go to. Probably shouldn’t share that as it’s never busy
Yeah I always go there if I’m standing on that side. I’ve decided that I’m not a big Stubbs fan. The layout just kinda sucks and my shorty wife can never get good sight lines, plus it’s hot as fuck for half the year in austin. Also the sea of talkings in the back half is pretty obnoxious so I have to try to get close which worsens the view for my wife. Much prefer ACL Live for that level of show.

No, man, hell no. That was the worst excuse of a performance I think I've ever seen out of a US team, and I've seen a lot of shitty US soccer.

I’ve decided I like OU at 11. Keeps me somewhat less shit faced for the game and after. Last 2:30 game I was a mess. Would love it if we could throw in a night game every now and then but we know that ain’t happening.

That's probably it, thanks. Seems reasonable. I've seen a lot of bands do that over the years.
Think they're going back and forth. Buddy saw them in DFW somewhere and Spoon opened.

A "Police Chaplain?" Do they bring him along on SWAT raids to cast Heal Light Wounds and Turn Undead?
My dad was a police chaplain for a while. It was a purely voluntary position which he enjoyed because he got to ride along with the cops occasionally and feel really macho. He’s MAGA as fuck, to no one’s surprise.

Oh goodie. I was too young to experience the first satanic panic. Interested to see how it goes in round 2!
I'm not. It's every bit as dumb as you think it's gonna be.
