I’ll be doing something different this year and will be coming up to the stadium from the South side. We usually come from the North and park in the neighborhoods around Posse East, but want to be on the south side this year to make it easier to get out of town after the game. Any suggestions? I’m ok with paying $20 or so and don’t care about an above average walk, but would like something with a quick exit to 35 S or any main artery heading south where I can eventually work myself to 35.
$40 to park in the Health Center garage on Trinity. Worked great for us on Saturday.

Becker the Kicker. He’s no Dicker.

Lunatics. Every one of them. Including my parents and in laws who at least are mostly more civil than this but still every bit as crazy.

My only regret in that exchange is that Beto didn't ask the guy to explain what a communist is.
Exactly. These idiots don’t have a clue. My Trumptard father in law angrily called me a communist the other day because I had the gall to tell him that some of Trump’s own appointees were criticizing some of his actions as president and they were right. He was literally frothing at the mouth - to be fair he had been drinking.
I’m an Air Force veteran, literally “fought” the commies in the Cold War, own a small business as a partner in a very conservative law firm, own property, and was a lifelong Republican until I finally realized the error of my ways about 10 years ago. I’m completely 100% not a communist and he would know that if he wasn’t brainwashed. These people are so fucking stupid they don’t even know what they’re saying.

Here’s my take after sitting through the entire practice:
1) Card and Ewers basically even aside from that brutal Pick 6 by Card. Advantage Ewers by default. Expect him to be named starter no later than next Monday.
2) Brennen Thompson and Savion Red had some moments. I’m thinking Thompson plays early. Dude is skinny as fuck, smaller than Worthy, but if you don’t get a body on him he’s gone.
3) Didn’t watch O line play in detail, but freshmen seemed to hold their own. Fully expecting 2-3 to be starting very early.
4) Thought DBs were solid.
5) Kickers don’t have big legs. Their FG attempts didn’t look terrible in the air (no ugly shanks) but results weren’t good.
6) Impressed with the pace of the practice. They kept them moving.
7) Drops from WRs were contagious. Hopefully just a one practice thing.
😎 Bijan is a bad man and on a different level from the rest of the team.Overall impression - We are who we thought we were. A mediocre team with some good young talent that’s gonna need another year or two to develop. Offense is just too inexperienced to be counting on it to put up 45 on a regular basis and I’ll believe it when I see it against a real offense from our D. I see the O having some big games but also a few stinkers. 7-5 or 8-4 seems realistic. Anything better is a pipe dream and will involve some significant in-season improvement. Oh, and Bama gonna absolutely rape us.

No offense but that's your culture not everyone's culture. I don't have a single family member on either side that says shit like that. I'm always kind of surprised when I read posts on here about how so many posters do have family or friends that will say shit like that in the open.
When I was in the Air Force I had a buddy from Beaumont who said shit like that all the time.

Ballys has a pool and cabanas but no idea if it's any good. You're pretty close to Cosmo and Bellagio, so I'd look into all of those and do some research. Cosmo and Bellagio are likely much more expensive, but you get what you pay for in Vegas.

how was it? i had tickets but couldnt make it. bummed i missed it. was really more excited about will johnson but good looks is new to me so was interested in hearing something new. did they play separate sets or together?
Will started things off right on time at 8:00. Mostly solo but had a band mate from Centromatic join him on the keyboard for several songs. Will played an electric guitar for the whole show. Really good stuff. I’d never listened to him before and by the end several folks in our group were googling him.
Good Looks we’re fantastic. Seemed to be in very good spirits and played an energetic set. Started around 9:15 and played until around 10:30 with a 2 song encore. Getting home by 11:00 was perfect for this old man. My whole group really liked them.
Parish was a great little venue. I’ll make it a point to go there regularly.

Steve Earle got shafted a bit there.
Yeah, disappointed about that. Would've liked to have seen him and Charley Crockett later on because I'm not showing up at noon on a hundred degree day. Probably gonna get there around 4-5 so I'll miss them both.

Thought I saw that music starts at Noon, but I may be imagining that.

Agree with Stan. It was a harsh statement given how he's treated some of his favorites who have as bad or worse results over time.

FIFA and Fox love their cheesy and awkward celebration shows

Musah and Weston have that attitude that this team was lacking in its failed qualification run for the last World Cup. That shit is contagious. The US has to play with a chip on its shoulder. Always.

Wasn’t bad but departures were spread out given that it was a blowout. We left with 5 min left in the game. Nice thing is it’s close to the interstate if that’s your target.
