I was there, too. I was on spring break from my high school and visiting my mom, who lived in Austin. I want to say I paid $15 for my ticket and $10 for my T-Shirt. i want to say they came out and played Maggie's Farm as a second encore, but it's not on the set list, so I may be confusing that with another time.
Make that 3 of us. Was my senior year in HS. Took my brothers and a friend who would end up being my brother in law after I married his sister (we had just started dating at the time but she missed the concert). Great show, my first big rock concert and we had a blast singing 40 on the way out. Only regret was buying a shitty ass bootleg concert tee in the parking lot on the way in that fell apart after one wash.

Crystal will have to ask the folks who dropped 6figs to support the team to at least be there for the entrance. Not gonna happen. The people were there but most of them were on the field. That’s a big selling point of those seats, to be able to get onto the field and have a club environment down there, so I expect it’ll be like this in perpetuity.

Why were all those seats around the longhorn empty?
Because those are the seats for the Field Club and all of those people were in the club or on the field. It’s an unfortunate look but not sure what you can do about it

The grandkids are bringing this old fart to the game today. We plan to spend pre game in the Alumni Center but it's been four years since I attended a game in person so I'm looking for parking information. Isn't San Jacinto closed on game days? Where is the closest place they can drop pops off near the Center and then find a parking spot?
Most parking anywhere near the stadium is occupied by pass holders. You can find cash parking and pay in advance here

This. Just bought a pair in the Touchdown Club so my wife can sit in the a/c and drink while we watch the game. I'll probably appreciate it too, given the forecast. If the weather is good, I'll buy tickets for future games closer to the 50 and outside.

At what point do you say - Claudio, you’ve put together a really shitty team that is completely incapable of scoring goals? At what point do you demand slightly more? Or am I just a demanding asshole who should be satisfied with a shitty expansion team that doesn’t score?
Guess I’ll just quote myself

let me tell you about the Duggar Family. Check out the most recent episodes of Behind the Bastards - they go into detail on the family's history and connection to child sexual abuse and how to cover it up while making a reality TV show.
edit: For bonus points, do some reading on Bill Gothard (yes that's his actual name) who was the religious leader providing cover for the duggars and raping a few girls (under 18) while he was at it.
Holy shit! That's a name I haven't heard in years. My parents absolutely worshipped Bill Gothard when I was a kid. Had his books all over the house, had me read them. I went to at least two of his seminars in my early teen years. Didn't take I guess - I'm an atheist, left winger who believes women should have at least a little say over their lives and shouldn't be sexually harassed. Guess I'm a failure.

We're learning!Acosta just assured his inclusion in most qualifiers going forward and likely the World Cup final 23, if we make it..
I was 8 rows up behind that goal and watched it all. Glorious delay tactics. Keeper was fucking with the guy quite a bit too.

This is utterly 100% glorious!

Looking forward to Thursday in Austin. I’ll be in the supporters section behind the south goal.

My go to has become to park in a $20 pay lot across street from Hopsquad. Other good options for free parking have been to grab pregame margaritas at Dos Salsas and leave car there for walk down Burnet or park at Oskar Blues, grab a couple beers, then walk over. Those free options are a bit longer walks but not bad at all.
Train and busses are good options as well. -
