  1. It would be more impressive if they didn’t handpick kids from across the country to bring them to that campus for this purpose. Impressive is if this was done with home grown kids from that community/area.
  2. Derka, you should have put Motown on ignore. Don’t worry about what he personally says about you. People are going to personally talk about you for the rest of your life. You can’t help that and why should you care? Not only that, the rest of us in the basketball forum will take care of it if Motown gets out of control and keeps being an ass. We’ve done it before. Motown—you also are at fault here. You had every chance to put Derka on ignore as well and you didn’t do it. You could have been the bigger person and stopped it altogether but you kept egging him and the situation on, which says a lot about the maturity level. If you permaban Derka, you must also permaban Motown as he is the other 50% of this problem.
  3. Glad to be wrong about Alabama… Good game
  4. The answer of a contract being signed to host the FF on TBS in even years, yes, yes, that directly answered your question. You chose to ignore it because you want to force yourself to being correct about something you’re incorrect on. Getting back to the game… Alabama I think is cooked here but the effort is great
  5. This has nothing to do with anything. The God’s Gift/UNC championship game was on TBS and was the 3rd most watched game on cable tv of all time. The Duke/UNC FF game was 2nd all time. The God’s Gift/UNC national title game was up in viewership by 4% compared to the previous year when the NC was on CBS.
  6. Man, I really, really, really wanted Oats here before Beard.
  7. Do you even know the viewership numbers or are you just talking shit out of your ass again?
  8. It started in 2016 It’s on TBS every even year (until the deal runs out)
  9. NC State/Purdue - 5:09pm tip Alabama/Uconn - 7:49pm tip
  10. Another thing they tell us when reffing is to “mirror calls” meaning if you let 2-3 things go in the 1st quarter you’ve got to let that go in the 4th quarter. That foul (sure, it was a foul) wasn’t called a lot in this game. Also, Clark had a blatant—and i mean blatant—push off when she did a drive and pop in the paint either earlier in that quarter or in the 3rd and it went uncalled. I was actually shocked because of how blatant it was. But even if you think that UConn player flopped on the Clark push off, then you have to acknowledge the Iowa player faking that contact in that final second situation. It’s going to be a major Iowa fan advantage, so Sunday could get interesting.
  11. Well the amount of fans on this site who supported the foul call would have said “YOU CAN’T CALL THAT AT THIS POINT IN THE GAME!” Had the jerseys said Texas instead of UConn.
  12. You should have been the bigger person and done this months ago. You were just as immature and are to blame as well.
  13. So then the question is this—is the rest of sports America just sick of Clark because I’ve seen no one in thousands of posts defend this call. I’m a ref and even I was like this when Gina made that call:
  14. Why would Buzz leave A&M? He made it well known he wanted to get back to Texas for him and his family. A&M isn’t firing him any time soon as they have no basketball history and don’t give 2 shits about basketball.
  15. I mean we are coming up on nearly 20 years since Tennessee last won a NC. I'm not sure what they are expecting but Pat is not coming up from the ground any time soon...
  16. You can’t “easily argue” that Arkansas has a better history than Texas—they just straight up have a better history. No sane Texas fan would argue otherwise.
  17. I bet the over for UConn/Iowa I don’t think either of them will beat Souf Carolina tho…
  18. Well, let me be clear—yet again: K-12 is underfunded and college tuition is out of control because of 1 main, huge, giant reason—their state governments are purposely underfunding them and have been for decades. This has been happening in *certain* states for a long, long time.
