  1. For Ou, Texas and Mizzou are all but guaranteed. I dont think itll be Piggy bc they want to go more east but it cant be UGA, Bama, Auburn, Lsu, Tenn or Florida bc they all should have 2+ rivalries set and wont want a stronger than avg #3. Only other way they can go East is South Carolina.
  2. we may want to pair up UF/Ou but UF will get UGA and Tenn, Ou as a 3rd is a pretty tough schedule. Ou needs a harder 3rd option after UT, Mizzou but its hard to match a 3rd that is not Arky, to keep it fair on the East teams.
  3. Tenn and USCe get each other bc that is what is left when every team matches up their Rival 1. That or South Carolina/Vandy which could work. if you take option2: USCe: Vandy, UF, Ok. Vandy:USCe, Arky, Mizzou. Kent: Tenn, Miss St, Auburn. Tenn: UK, Bama, UF Auburn get Bama and UGA, they deserve Vandy(option 1) as the 3rd team, maybe Kent(option2)
  4. Option 1 vs Option 2 nothing changes for texas 3 but schedules become much harder/easier for some teams.
  5. since the east/west split Bama has been bigger rivals with Lsu then Tenn but not over the past 100 years. Aggie gets screwed, haha Lsu/UF have only been rivalry since the E/W split, not a rivalry before that. Tenn must own the league bc thats way to damn easy.
  6. if you take the last 10 years into account, Tenn, Au and Lsu is below avg bc Tenn and Au have been down but i get your point. Saban has been nbegging for 9 games for 15 years but as soon as Tenn and Lsu beat them in 2022 and kept them out the playoffs, he changes his tune. Tenn, Au and Lsu are the right 3 for Bama imo.
  7. must be bc he isnt as well spoken as Bryce
  8. 100% agree. 6-6 and bowl game is better than 5-7 no bowl and couple million more for school. might get to keep your job at 6-6 a couple years into your contract.
  9. Like some of you said, great film. Live arm, from many angles. Keeps eyes downfield, very good anticipation. Doesnt get rattled with pressure in his face. Ball comes flying off his hand. Watched a couple interviews and speaks well. He might be able to create some good momentum for 25 and also for 24 in a few weeks in the SE region. Great pick up 🤘
  10. 2 years ago that made sense but now its all together. Show espn the value in texas/ou together + each teams games vs aggie, piggy, uga, lsu, florida etc and thats millions of more viewers + extra conference games like kent vs ole miss. Those extra conf game , sec getting even $5million/game is worth it to sec, i would think.
  11. Good question. I think, not sure, espn has a new sec deal from 2024 to 2034 but i dont think that includes Texas/Ou. Logically, IF thats true, espn has to up the deal. If it does include Tx/ou, thats that's bad on Sec part.
  12. Need majority vote in June 2024. 5 this year + Texas + ou = 7 out of 16. Need 2 more. Bama and Saban will remain a no if he gets Lsu, Auburn, Tenn and Saban has some pull(somehow). Should be able to get 2 more yes next year to get to 9 yes votes.
  13. DL: thats 3 edges and 1 interior guy, thats not gonna happen, we need 2-3 HS interior guys and 1-2 transfers. ATH; moddon is out, hampton is ,50% imo. QB (1): Owens RB (2): Gibson, Clark WR (3): Hudson, Livingstone, Wingo/Baker TE (1): Washington OL (4): Cruz, Saina, 2 out of state guys DL (5): edge: (2)Simmons/Umeozulu, Okoye interior (3) January, 2 out of state interior guys. LB (2): Williams, Smith DB (4): Black, Bridges, Johnson-Rubell, OOS safety/DB P (1): Kern ATH (0-1): Bussey total 24 from HS. + portal DT, WR, TE, Safety + depending on early exits to NFL/portal out
  14. Definitely makes sense. Iron bowl and uga/auburn, fla/tenn, egg bowl get played every year no matter what.
  15. Cowardly YES, but it IS financially responsible to vote 8 game schedule right now bc they want espn/abc to pony up for those extra 8 games. If espn/abc said we will pay you $5mm/extra sec game, they vote yes today. Espn isnt willing to right now.
  16. many of yall are super confident we will play aggie in 2024. hope so but i dont think we will. If, $ is the reason, they should not play that game in 24 and make networks pay for that one in 25. Iron bowl, egg bowl, RRR, UGA/Auburn, Lsu/Bama, UF/UGA will be played but they will keep a couple of games off the schedule to make networks want them. Texas/Aggie, Bama/Tenn, UF/LSU are all options of games not played in 24. hoping they change it to 9 in 25 but i do think itll be 2 years(so they can even it up(1-7-7), unless networks really pay up.
  17. Players can now take unlimited officials(crazy) so he will OV Lsu and UGA and probably UF/Bama if he has weekends free.
  18. 100% agree be patient, of the team in top 10, many will have 2-5 de-commits also. I would prefer the staff do what they do. Set up visits in July, watch summer practices, then push in July to December. If we are gonna win the big 12, go 10-2 or 11-1 then we want a few spots for de-commits in December/Jan.
  19. they still have USC and UCLA in Pac but Texas and OU in SEC. Lot of moving parts right now. I hope we get 1-2 years to prove we are top tier SEC before it breaks apart but i do want to break away the the NCAA.
  20. 4 home games, 3 away games, 1 neutral site (arky) but avoiding UGA for so long is crazy. USCwest has played better than usual so hopefully they can beat Aggie. Bama, Lsu, Tenn are going to be tough games for Aggie. What can Miami, Arky, Ole Miss, Miss St and Auburn do? Aggie will win, ACU, New Mexico and UL Monroe.
  21. Agree, Neto should start at LG but he does have to improve some in next 4 months. I think he is more physical.
  22. finally something to go in the trophy room
