Yeah I found a backpack so I can bike there Ended up getting a Phaze II at the pro shops recommendation. I was going to get a Hammer but he suggested I might struggle a bit controlling it just yet.
Our beach town had an absolutely ancient bowling alley less than a mile away from my house that finally went under in 2018. This disgusting lot/building sat for a few years and then it was announced someone would buy and rebuild it. 4 years and like $8M later, it re opened yesterday and is fantastic. 20 lanes, arcade, restaurant and huge, upstairs outdoor bar Bought my shoes and bag yesterday. Will hunt for a ball today. Totally going to become a bowler for days when golfing is out of the question (Check back in 2-3 months to see if I have a barely used ball and ball bag for sale here)
I’ve always been a feel putter for distance, but have been toying around with prescribed backstroke distances instead and I have to admit it works pretty damn well. Anyone using this as their standard putting approach?
It’s worth noting that in 2024 **FACEBOOK** still doesn’t enable embedding either. It’s possible they’ve decided to prevent this for threads even when the APIs for developers rolls out to the masses
Don’t recall your ages, but that’s 100% not been my experience. I would have to force myself to slow down to hit a reg with consistency, and I’m not a particularly fast swinger already
I would get the same flex shaft as your new irons. A hybrid is meant to be swung as an iron so you don’t want a different feeling flex, nor would you want to change your tempo to accommodate it.
Did you mean to say 5i-48 instead of 5w? Most 5w are equivalent to 3h, but the 4h should play a bit more than a step above the 5i so that should be a good club to include
Where are you placing the ball in your stance with the 3w? I’ve been able to dial mine in by relearning ball position. It’s taken a number of range sessions to get comfortable with though. I’d agree that it needs to look right first and foremost. If you don’t feel confident with that club the misses can be disastrous
There at least 4 totally wasted strokes on those three holes. On 9 I barely pulled it into a hazard and had to drop. On 10 I juuuuuust missed a perfect 6 iron that clipped the bottom of a limb, kicked right into the trunk of the same tree and then rolled back to the spot I just swung from. And then the aforementioned 4 jack Golf
Using the 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 clock technique with 60*, 56*, 52*, 48* wedges will make you look like a fucking wizard with your pitches. I’ve stuck a ton of wedges to less than 3 feet from inside 60 yards the last few months thanks to this
