  1. I'd guess the "right" play would be two consecutive unplayable lateral drops. Should be enough distance to get him a decent lie
  2. Still Wynn, Aria, Venetian with some liking Resort World, though I’ve not tried it. Wynn is most comfortable/highest quality. Aria is most packed (can be to its detriment as fish aren’t as likely to wait for a seat). Venetian tends to have more availability. MGMs room is dark and low stakes only. I’d avoid it unless others were out of reach.
  3. Walked four consecutive days this weekend: 88, 80, 80, 84. ~25 miles, ~6500 calories burned, 3 birdies, 1 eagle, 127 putts (1.7 per), 1 very sore ankle/planter fascia
  4. Golf.
  5. Think he requested this one?
  6. At ARIA it’s not uncommon to see a team of dealers standing around an empty $100 table, while a packed $25 is going off right next to them. Clearly they’ve done the math and know a big fish will come along eventually and they’ll actually make more money with this strategy.
  7. Double tap the logo and switch from “For You” to “Following”
  8. Forgot about this thread. We did the trip around Hawaii at the end of June and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure enough, on day 3 the ship suddenly had required hand sanitizer everywhere and the buffet went from being self service to only crew-served. They never made a ship announcement but some crew member told us there was a spike in illnesses so it operated like that the rest of the cruise.
  9. We joked when we left Texas for Florida 6 years ago that at least our vote would start to count. So much for that. Now the wife wants to move again because “these aren’t our people”. Love the beach and hate the cold, so we may have to leave the country altogether.
  10. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just say “I’m more popular than Jesus”. I’ve long thought that may be the one thing that would backfire on him. I’m no longer as certain, but it would be an enjoyable theory to test.
  11. My assumption is that a fold would be quite likely at this point. Especially if we saw a lot of action past our check. If there's a bet and then a raise/jam, for example, I doubt our odds are frequently favorable (would depend on stack sizes, of course) to make a call
  12. I don’t mind either play preflop. Don’t think bluff jamming flop from early position was EV+ though. Too likely some of the 7 opponents had SPR spots where they’d call even if you showed them AA (which a flop jam screams here) Pretty much a rule to never bluff when 4-way+
  13. I jam and he snaps with 5h6d. I don’t get there.
  14. Web app this week according to WSJ headline (I don’t have sub) https://www.wsj.com/articles/metas-threads-app-to-launch-web-version-as-rivalry-with-x-enters-new-stage-706e8241?mod=mhp&reflink=share_mobilewebshare
  15. Yes, but fold equity is significant here
  16. Straights, Sets, 2 pairs, TT, KTss and maybe KJss all seem reasonable here. Not sure about 66
  17. $1100 at $2/5. UTG straddle. I make it $35 from UTG1 w As6s. BTN, BB and UTG call. $140 pot. 9s8s7c. Checks to me, I make it $80. BTN folds, BB (reg, competent but aggressive wild at times) check raises to $300 and has me covered. UTG folds. A. Fold (Lulz) B. Call $300 leaving pot sized bet behind C. Raise to X (??) D. Jam
  18. He should keep doing whatever he’s doing. It’s working perfectly
