  1. Has anyone come across discussions about odds for winning high hand promotions? I’m trying to determine what the order of likelihood is for a given table to win: Limit Holdem: almost every hand gets to the river, which is good because you’ll see all 5 cards, but bad because every hand takes longer to play so you see fewer per hour No Limit: fewer hands get past flop, much less to the river. More hands per hour than limit, though PLO: must flop a winner, so only 3 community cards to work with rather than five, BUT you effectively have 6 shots per hand dealt because of the 6 combos in your hand. Probably same number of hands as limit holdem
  2. It’s all relative. As long as competition is playing the same ball I don’t really care. Adjust the tee box and we’re all good imo
  3. That’s why they’ll only truck FSU.
  4. Georgia will absolutely truck them and this controversy will quickly disappear
  5. Jax Beach. I was playing Blues
  6. He’s clearly just trolling and finding willing victims

  10. Dropped another one from 170 yards this morning for an eagle on a par 5. Saw this one violently disappear but still wasn’t sure until I looked in the hole I was playing solo, so two balls. “Player 2” in the background drained a 15 footer for birdie on top of the eagle ball Hell of a match with “Player 1” choking on #9, my final hole for the morning before kickoff Would have a pretty big impact on my handicap if either score counted (they don’t bc playing two balls isn’t legal)
  11. Sorry to hear that. Good luck ramping back up. Definitely one of the reasons I did this weight loss was I knew the next flu or Covid would kick my ass even worse given the shape I was in I’m starting to look pretty damn fit at 193 lbs. The next 20-30 lbs will be quite interesting to see the results of
  12. Danny is an all time great, idolized and called an inspiration by many other professional drummers, which is a pretty good indicator if you’re otherwise unsure. While his skill is clearly exceptional, it’s his creativity when writing his complex drum parts that sets him apart. This drum break (6:35) broke minds.
  13. Yeah I think you want to play higher stakes at Wynn because their hotel clientele probably isn’t playing the small stuff. Wynn is for whale hunting. MGM is for the $1/2 streets
  14. As best I can tell, you think vegans and animal rights groups are synonymous… which is definitely not the case
  15. We always did 3.5 min per lb at 375*

  17. Yeah? What was your purchase price + FSD? What’s the current resale value of your car?
  18. Yep, so I just replace the whole mechanism rather than just parts
  19. That’s the worst. Have to kill the water at the street to fix it. Had the exact same problem while fixing a fill valve myself. Other than that, replacing/tuning your fill valves is probably something you should get comfortable doing. I’ve probably done a dozen by now. They just don’t last
  20. These legit high level events really give me a perspective of where my game is at. Much like shot taking in big cash games it’s always a slap in the face of reality when I’m clearly one of, if not the, weakest players at the table. First, it’s fairly obvious when you’re being targeted. We all see it, know it, and feel like there’s not much you can do about it short of either taking some questionable risks or nitting it up, both of which suck in a $5k buyin! It’s also interesting when you’re just a spectator in a hand and you see cards revealed at showdown that are well outside the range you anticipated. I often find myself asking if I ever could have taken that line as successfully as they did. Finally, the number of 3bets and 4bets I saw was astounding yesterday. Happened virtually every hand with an EP raiser. I was also surprised how frequently I would see 2x opens (perhaps a big contributor to the 3bets) and even open limps. One guy would then just randomly open 5-6x, often still getting 3bet! It was wild to watch
