  1. So good. Will enjoy the pre-premier binge of the old stuff
  2. Is it the End key that I’m hitting when I’m working in a small excel file and suddenly it puts my cursor on like row 70,000? Because that fucking sucks

New EP coming April 22 No CR
  4. Periodic reminder that congressional vote counts don’t matter once the outcome is assured. Comparing one vote count to another is mostly meaninglessness. Many are not voting about the merits of the question at hand so much as how that vote will play in primary commercials.
  5. Perhaps mysterious flu like symptoms got him. He wasn’t young IIRC
  6. You do know they immediately get an email telling them you’re checking out their profile, right?
  7. It’s not clear to me the point of a flat/donk here
  8. Yeah, fold and quit poker forever was considered. Instead I just folded and steamed for a bit.
  9. Reraise to $125, a number he must call with any legit hand. This allows you to comfortably jam turn with your remaining $160 into a $280 pot. He should call here a lot. If you just call flop hoping he hangs himself, it’s quite likely it goes check check on turn.
  10. Note that in Phase 2, when the shooter hits their point and then establishes a different one, the dealer may need to move you off one number and onto another. Be sure to adjust your tracking chips to match.
  11. I really like my approach for keeping track where you are in the strategy The table usually has two parallel rails for you to store your chips. Keep your chips in the rail closer to you. When you start (phase1) put 2 $1 chips on the rail above, splitting the section into thirds. When you hit your first number, take one down and full collect. when you hit the second, take the second one down and full collect. Now phase 2 You are starting with an empty rail from phase 1. When you hit one of your 3 numbers, put a $1 chip either far left, center, or far right, depending on which number you hit. Ie if your numbers are 689, a 6 would go far left, an 8 would go center and a 9 would go far right. Now tell the dealer you want a full press. Repeat this and when you hit a specific number a second time in phase 2, place a second $1 chip on top of the first, again telling the dealer full press. Repeat the process again, likely building 1 or two chips on your other two numbers as well. Finally, when you hit a specific number a third time, take down those two $1 chips, tell the dealer same bet and take your winnings from that roll. Start the phase 2 process all over again for that number, though now you’ll be starting with a much higher base for it. This is when shit gets real When the shooter rolls a 7, take it all down and reset for phase 1 with your two $1 chips splitting the rail into thirds. I set them this way so that no matter how much I’ve been drinking, their placement tells me I am in phase 1 and not phase 2
  12. $2/5, $800. Fourth hand of the session Folds to CO who opens to $20. He’s a solid reg w about $1k. I call with QhQs looking to be sneaky with him. $40 pot JdTd9d. I check, he makes it $35, I check raise to $125. He slow calls. Qc. I check call $300. As. I check, he jams. Your move?
  13. Booked my WSoP trip for July 4-11. Airfare has gone up quite a bit, now costing me $900 when I’ve paid $3-400 in the past. Got 4 “free” nights at Park MGM, but with resort fees and the other three paid nights, I’m looking at another $600 there versus $2-300 in the past. Sorry guys, but I’m going to need to go ahead and take down the Main Event this year. Hope you’ll understand
  14. Lol note Daves last lyric
  15. That was my immediate thought
  16. I jam and he shows 66 Stupid game
  17. If the point is 8, we play 5 6 9 If the point is 6 we play 5 8 9 We always make three bets, on 3 of the four inside numbers: 5, 6, 8, 9 We never bet 4 or 10. The house edge is too high on those two If the point is 4 or 10, we “hug” that number, so 568 for 4 or 689 for 10. We actually prefer these rolls, because the house has the least edge on 6/8 and we get to play both.
  18. Jesus
  19. What do you think about a larger bet to make sure draws pay a premium
  20. $2/5 NLHE, sitting w $2000 EP opens to $20. HJ, CO, BTN, SB all call. I complete BB w 5s5c. $120 pot 4h5d7d. Checks to CO (30ish white reg dude, competent but not scary. $850 behind) who makes it $60. Folds to me and I check raise to $200. Others fold, he tank calls. $520 pot 6h. What do you bet here?
  21. Stay on 9, follow the schedule, don’t bet the 5. We’re indifferent to Come bets
  22. I find this to be incredibly true for my poker game the last 10 years, after being ignorantly bliss the 10 years prior
