  1. Your mom likes when I over cock it.
  2. Best win would be aggy. Not sure how much respect that will garner
  3. Perhaps Russia realizes we may actually sink their shit but we’re not going to escalate with China.
  4. I understand why Sark didn’t want to bench him and isn’t benching him. I also understand why fans are so frustrated watching him. It was probably unfair to expect him to be better this year than last despite replacing all his receivers and downgrading significantly at RB. But his PFF went from 85.6 last year to 68.0 now, essentially the same as it was when he was a RS freshman (70.9). We can excuse some of that for sure. We can accept what he is and root for him. But if his PFF was even just the average of his prior seasons (76.8), he’d be top half of the SEC, we would have humiliated OU, Georgia would’ve been a coin-flip, and Vandy, Florida, and Arkansas would’ve all been laughers. This conversation would be very different. He has undeniably been a disappointment in 2024 and he’s running out of time to turn it around.
  5. The wording is a little odd but these PFF grades are for the season to-date, updated after week 12: (QE is now 13th out of 16) https://www.louisianasports.net/week-12-pff-sec-qb-rankings/ Even if you want to use QBR, ESPN puts him at 7th out of 15 qualifying SEC QBs. His draft stock has plummeted the last 5 weeks. Bad at reading defenses, bad pocket presence, bad lower body mechanics, low release point, injury prone … I guess it’s a wild take to suggest his arm strength is over rated too. How did he end up with a perfect rating coming out of HS?
  6. I feel like you argued my point while calling it crazy. If he can throw hard, when has he? That 25 yard downfield out to Wingo was open and he couldn’t get the ball there in time. He desperately needs to get his whole body into some of these throws because he is NOT making them. His lower body mechanics are a train wreck that cost him so many downfield completions: when guys are wide open and he can lob it, he’s inaccurate, when it’s a tight window, he can’t find the juice. His short game is elite. If he can truly make all the throws, you tell me why else he’s bottom-tier SEC statistically.
  7. Was it that tight of a window? Watching Georgia-Tenn that night, lowly Beck made Quinn’s arm look weak as fuck. QE’s lack of throwing power COMBINED with his lack of down field accuracy leaves him with no confidence to just let it rip. I’ll be surprised if he volunteers for velo testing at the combine. Failing to break 50 mph would definitely raise eyebrows for a guy that can “make all the throws”
  8. Or wait for the drive killing hold that occurs when one of our backs bounces what should be an inside run.
  9. I thought 2 of Ewers deep throws in that game had far too much touch on them. The receivers were open but the ball took too long to arrive. For a guy that can supposedly make all the throws, we never get to see the velo.
  10. The dog that would wag its tail and bite your dick off and eat you alive is more fuckable that thumb shaped mound of human garbage.
  11. Yeah but Simms, pathetically grasping for any shred of attention, talked shit about a Texas QB!
  12. Can’t rely on the running game when we fumble every 10th carry
  13. Enter an exclusive economic zone and switch off your transponders, get sunk. It’s obvious these dipshits are up to no good and it’s the only thing they’ll listen to. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/16/russian-spy-ship-escorted-away-from-internet-cables-in-irish-sea
  14. If Russia is going to drag anchors to cut cables, there is a solution to this problem. Take the ships, keep any cargo. Sink them if you have to. China is not going to have their backs.
  15. I thought it had been established that no one watches 60 minutes that needs to be convinced?
  16. This is weird. A staunchly pro crypto bro that isn’t so batshit on other topics that he has to make a new account every other week? Welcome @NYTransplant
  17. I struggle to directly compare them because the offenses are so different and Sam was forced to play too early. Sam never had a particularly high completion percentage. We were habitual turtlers under Tom, let’s not romanticize the era. One thing you never wondered about at all with sam was his love of the university and his toughness. So maybe from a pure arm talent perspective, QE has an edge, which is pretty fucking important for a QB. But all the intangibles, the running ability, Sam has him. Sam would be better on this team right now because we need a running QB to open things up.
  18. Play 4 … “catchable” 🤣
  19. I mean, it is an ENTIRELY new receiving group. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a Texas team with so little receiving continuity from one season to the next. It was a risk for QE to come back for that reason alone. Hell even NFL teams run worth a fuck drafting a top QB try to get his favorite receiver too. It could explain why helm is our leading receiver. QE doesn’t trust that he’ll make the perfect throw AND doesn’t trust these guys to win 50/50 balls. We’ve still got a few games for the trust to grow. In the mean time, we’re extremely disappointed with the #14 rated QB …
  20. Am I crazy? Last year didn’t QE run for 5 TDs and have multiple ~30 yard TD runs up the middle? Then he got injured, Maalik had to play 2 games, and QE has been hesitant ever since. Seemed more willing to run last game, maybe the game ending keeper lights a fire…
  21. Compared to this year’s, sure, but compared to the last 20 years of Texas football? You go too far sir.
  22. Upon further review, Texas wins convincingly, in a game that’s not as close as the score suggests: 2-0
