  1. The NCAA acknowledges this is not a major advantage. The rules committee actually considered repealing 11.6.1 a couple years ago. Their rationale: Go out beat Penn State, Ohio State, and whoever from the west makes the B1G championship and this becomes a non story. Go out and drop games to any of these teams, and look bad doing it and it becomes "see what happens when the playing field is equal" Michigan has to handle their business. Pedo and O$U looked pretty rough last week, Michigan should smash them.
  2. I guess its a good thing they have the rest of the season to see which it was.... if Michigan implodes I will take my lumps. If they pound Pedo and Ohio state on the way to the playoffs again, I think it will be pretty clear that they actually may be talented.
  3. Having a generational QB instead of 6 different JAGs probably has nothing to do with it either. I couldn't care less about this. It appears to help the offense more than the defense because by the time you decipher the offenses code and communicate it somehow to the defense the ball is snapped so not really time to adjust. Michigan runs an extremely slow offensive pace, so knowing the defensive signs would give them time to adjust what they are doing. In the 2021 ohio state game michigan ran the ball all but 4 times in the second half. They dominated the buckeyes, there is no amount of sign stealing in the world that would have changed the outcome of that game.
  4. Michigan state. We never drop the ball. Posts Hitler on the scoreboard. 00-13c714-710x533.webp
  5. Oh man. If you take away climbing trees and playing shirts and skins along with it Jimmy may as well just hang em up. All that for a headcase kicker too. In other news. Michigan is finally getting a new locker room. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cyl_1k_xwmc/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D
  6. I don't disagree there. Jimmy really seems like he doesn't give a fuck anymore, and after OkieST cooperated with the NCAA/FBI thing and none of the other schools did, and they were the only ones to get punished who fucking cares about the NCAA. The networks run college football now.
  7. From MGOBLOG. Enough credence behind it that they put it on the front page.
  8. Michigan generates clicks, and views.... Also since harbaugh refused to apologize the NCAA has a hard on for him. They were probably so stoked to see this come across their desks.
  9. no they aren't. Literally everyone wants a lifetime contract at this point.
  10. If you wanted to try and convince me that Michigan was doing this in prep for PSU and O$U and had 9-10 games of tendencies on both of them I could maybe get behind a conspiracy. However, there is no fucking way Michigan was that concerned about fucking Rutgers that they would have blown their cover for games that actually had an outcome in doubt. If Schiano was smart, he could have just called up his buddies in columbus, told them about it, and had them change their signs the week of the game. Then he and day could have come out after the fact and been like "we had some thoughts they were stealing signs so we changed them" and really embarrassed harbaugh.
  11. This is what I was thinking. Unless they somehow are showing video non stop in the football building that was recorded how can you prove it. Also if true Harbaugh is a fucking idiot. You don't need to steal signs to beat the tomato cans you have played so far so why even risk it. State had their out to avoid getting bombed. They should have taken it. But seriously, how much of an advantage could it be. Signs come in with around 20 seconds on the playclock, so you have to decipher the code, and then try and communicate it out there to your defense somehow before the offense snaps the ball. Seems like it could be exploited easily by the offense by snapping early if the entire defense is trying to look at the sideline to crack the code. Schiano is an incredible dirtbag, who used to bomb QB kneels and taught players to go after knees. If it is all brought about by his complaints I would say it is 100% bullshit.
  12. I have been thinking this as well. Otherwise I think he would at least be attempting to save his son's job. Seems like a ferentz move though. Have a "big iowa" season and then say fuck you see how you do without me. Before he gets a statue a few years down the road.
  13. being the QB at texas and dating any girl, let alone one in a different state seems like a missed opportunity for quinn. To take your Texas/UofM comp a step further. This reminded me a lot of the TCU game last year. Michigan played horrible, had terrible turnovers and questionable calls against them, and still barely lost. Play that game 10 Times TCU may win 2. Texas should feel good about getting that out of their system and being refocused for the rematch and a spot in the playoffs.
  14. This was sick, glad to see the lions having fun on the field.

    USMNT 2023

makes me want to grab fifa this year just to play with that kit.
  16. Less harsh. Previously it was 6 games for first offense. Sucks for the Lions that Jamo ended up serving 4 games, but I guess that is better than the original 6 he got.
  17. Start around 1:05 but 100% agree fuck evan neal. S
  18. I dated a Cree girl and her family lived on the res way out in BFE canada. Holy shit how did I miss this show. I know this is a horrible comparison but its like seinfield on the res to me.
  19. It was everyone's fault. Mostly the O-Line and coaches though. When you are getting housed every fucking snap you don't run 6 step drops and long developing routes. You do a 3 step drop, or on a shotgun a throw that comes out in less than a second. Short out, slant, WR screen. Daboll and the OC hung Jones out to dry. At some point Jones should have just started throwing the ball into the feet of the OL to prevent all the negative yardage but there wasn't much else he could do but throw a long hang time hail mary as soon as he catches the snap and hoping that the WR is the one who comes down with it.
  20. 100% this. There was a MSU vs Michigan game a few years ago. Up here is is called the "please sir no more" game. Michigan had Devin Gardner at QB who was mobile, but MSU had so much pressure right up the gut there was nothing he could do. After about a quarter and a half he would just crumple to the ground before taking the hit. It was absolutely brutal to watch a QB take pressure like that. Jones took that pressure last night. https://www.mlive.com/spartans/2013/11/michigan_state_sacks_michigan_1.html
  21. He did the same shit in the season finale last year and got ejected. I don't understand how you can take such stupid penalties over and over.
  22. This is crazy to me. The battered Lions fan in me was saying they are going to lose this game in another insanely new way that hasn't happened to any other team. How is that not reviewable. The ultimate refs fuck up should be the easiest reviewable play. Or have a fucking buzzer in the refs pockets so they know the quarter is over.
