^^ short version. Roughly a 10 minute boil followed by a simmer. After which, I jarred it and put in oven for 10 min or so. Then allowed to cool down. As it cooled I could hear the occasional "pop" which is a good sign. Check this morning and all jars were sealed. Taste check this morning over some eggs and it was muy bein.
Lets get the salsa recipe please, and your pickles while your at it.

Candy corn mixed with peanuts is pretty good.

The only likable things about Roach are that he followed EJ Holland and doesn’t blatantly lie to people. He needs to be on Texas Country Reporter or something, traveling from small town to small town to sample the local chicken fried steak and 3A football games.
Bob Phillips is a treasure.

I can't remember the beer joint on 6th street late 90s that opened up, but they would serve these beers like 40 oz for $4 on some nights. The bathroom was tiny and had maybe a toilet and a urinal. You'd walk in there and one person would be pissing in the toilet, one in the urinal, one in the sink, one in the trash can, and someone hitting the drain. Not one place itself is funny, but the totality of creative pissing at once was nuts.

Who the fuck would think it's a good idea to hunt a 8'+ alligator in a canoe?
A lot of areas need flat bottom vessels to navigate. I've hunted gators that ended up being that size (you never know what you'll find at the end of the line) in small jon boats, but lawful means included using a 22.
You can tell from the tail that is a good size gator. Someone else should've pulled the line and let him ready the spear for the head.

I’ve used Sunny’s Transportation many times going from John Wayne to the Hyatt Regency down the street from DLR. Car services are way cheaper than Uber right now. I neglected to do the car service last time from the airport and Uber was over $120 and took close to an hour to show up. On the way back I used Sunny and it was around $70.
If you’re staying out of walking distance to the park, Uber drops off about 200 yards from the gate. It’s really convenient and fast because dozens of drivers just circle the park all day long. Uber to the surrounding neighbors is cheap, unlike the airport, and cost us less than $10 a ride the one time we rented a house.Sunny's just quoted me $235 one way from lax to my disney hotel. F it, I think i'll just do a one day car rental for $150.

Hitting up disneyland next week with the tribe for a few days and not renting a car.
Its been 7/8 years since I've been there but last time I met my family and paid something like $125 for a 1 person cab ride from lax to the park.
What's the best transport to/from lax and the parks? Uber or does someone have a rec for a good car service?

Hell, I’ve gone farther than just keeping notes. I’ve made phone calls. My favorite French onion dip is Yoder’s brand. They make the best sour cream too. Since the pandemic, Giant Eagle has stopped carrying it. (They still carry their horseradish, though, which is also my horseradish of choice but that’s just weird). Anyway, I looked up Yoder’s online and couldn’t find who makes it but I found that they were distributed by some company in Michigan. I made some calls to Giant Eagle customer service and was told that all the Yoder’s French onion dip is currently being sent to Pennsylvania. Wtf?
Thanks, Karen.

I've already told them that if it gets really bad here, and genuinely directly dangerous for us, their parents, DO NOT COME BACK FOR US. The one thing that brings me peace will be the knowledge that they are away and safe.
This is kind of texags prepper outer fringe speak (to me). What is going to get so bad that an adult child needs to fly from a foreign country to rescue their parents. I'm not trying to be salty, just curious as to the mindset.

Odd. A&M has the least tradition or history among all the schools mentioned.
Yeah, there's been a lot of that lately, and the answer is non-taxable bags and you can do whatever the hell you want unless it can't be swept under the table.

I decided to look at it closer and they've only won 3 national championships since joining the SEC. All 3 in track and field.
Only 3 national titles in 10 years since they joined the SEC is some aggy level results. Baylor has the same amount of national championships over the same timeframe.
3 national championships in 10 years is actually a hell of a run for aggy. They haven't won shit ever.

As a child, probably 35+ years ago, I went to a kids house and the mom made us bologna on white with mayo and ketchup. That was the most disgusting thing I've ever had in my life and as a young man I knew it was wrong. F those people.
