  1. My GF and I are two of the biggest Avett Brothers fans out there. Seeing them at Red Rock was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life - borderline spiritual.

We played that Bang Bang song a few weeks ago when it came out and couldn’t even finish it. Cringy. Not because Of this politics or the message - just a horrible song. I’m scared to listen to the rest of the album.

  2. They know how to get him on the field. The question is whether he is okay with being called a rover and whether he is willing to play aggressively like a rover.

Worrying about how to get Blue Chips playing time - wow how times have changed.

  3. I just binged it on a business trip this past week.  Really, really well done.  We've seen the "super hero grows old" troupe with Logan, but this is a new spin on it. The casting and editing is really good, the guy they got for Homelander plays his part well - every scene with him feels like it's on a knife's edge, like he could snap at any moment and kill everyone in the room.  He plays the sociopath really well.
Elizabeth Shue is hot.  Starlight is hot.  Maeve is old-hot.  They changed some stuff from the comics but it's already been renewed for season 2 so we'll see where they go from here.

It’s been said before, but if you haven’t seen Banshee go watch it. The guy that plays Homelander basically is in the same form the entire series and he does snap - over and over and over again.

  4. Please tell me you are a chick?? I can understand Bama Chick loving it, but good God.... Look, if you were a chick raised by a dysfunctional family, I think i get it, but it was a beating for me just to get past the first episode and I found no laughs.

I’m a straight 40 something male and I thought it was excellent. My gf and I watch a lot of TV and Season 2 is one of the best comedy series I’ve seen.

  5. Boy, can’t wait to sit down and watch this one with the wife.

    Pihu

A two-year-old must fend for herself when her mother suddenly passes away while her father is gone for a conference, leaving her prone to danger.

Thankfully, there’s a Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston movie that’s even more cringe-inducing

    Murder Mystery

On a long-awaited trip to Europe, a New York City cop and his hairdresser wife scramble to solve a baffling murder aboard a billionaire's yacht.

I thought Murder Mystery was fun. There, I said it. If a terrible movie knows it’s terrible I typically have no issue.

Also - Aniston finally looks like she aged a little (still looks great and they probably had to use makeup to make her look old).
