Yeah, I did for about 3 hours last night before taking them out. I have no idea if it makes a difference.
This is at 165degF and right before wrapping in foil for the "Texas Crutch".

Watching it rain.
My wife doesn't get that I like to watch the rain while drinking a beer in the garage.

My go to is pretty simple.
- Deep Eddy Grapefruit vodka
- 1 fresh squeezed lime
- Topo Chico
- Ice
It's great in the summer...

I don’t think there’s any point in soaking chips or chunks, unless for some reason you want steam.

I picked up a 12lb packer at HEB. $2.99/lb, bastards. It was the smallest they had. They didn't have a prime one for less than 15 pounds.
It's in my garage fridge. I soaked some mesquite chunks in water. Lighting the fire at 7am. It'll be ready for dinner. Taking the leftovers to poker at a friend's Saturday night.

Duplicity on HBO Go. It's a fun movie. I recommend it. I saw it years ago; rewatched it for the 2nd time.
Beirut via amazon rental. Rosamund Pike and Jon Hamm. I liked it, not great but good.

I had Netflix from the days of dvd by mail to dvd + streaming to streaming (I dropped by mail) but I quit about a year ago because I have amazon + cable.
But fuck, I might have to sign up for a month to watch this and catch up on other stuff. But mainly for this.

At a Texas Exes fundraiser after DKR's passing, I was the high bidder on this picture framed and signed by Jimmy Street.
I also have a slightly version of this same picture signed & numbered by DKR. I found it on sale as the LonghornsLTD website a year before he passed. I ended up buying another autographed picture of DKR celebrating while being carried off the field after beating Ole Miss in the 1962 Cotton Bowl. I can't find the picture online though... I have those framed in my gameroom and don't regret that at all.

I'm ready to smoke a brisket on the BGE. I have the L.
1. How much wood chunks to lump coal do I need? Ballpark on the ratio.
2. How much do I need to fill it up?
Any tips appreciated...

I decided to mow the yard at 7pm tonight because it's actually shady at this hour in both the front & back. Knocked it out and weedeated in just over an hour. Then drank beer in the garage for another 30min with the garage door open. Lots of folks walking their dogs; wonder if they are judgy? Oh well.

Southwest is the McDonalds of the airline world. It’s cheap, quick, easy and you get a lot of value for your money. But you don’t go in expecting to be waited on or receive 5-Star service. There’s no J or F Class, no assigned seating, no lounges and their footprint is pretty minimal. Paying any money for the listed benefits would not work, albeit, there’s nothing else they could really offer without changing their business model. Bags fly free already and changing flights is the most seamless in the business.
i'm not asking SWA to create a 1st class. Just they can add some easy low hanging fruit...

I've posted earlier on this thread. We have the SWA card. We started with my card, got a ton of points. Then I referred her in January, got 50k points for her and got the companion pass. She's used it 2 times for our kids on mini family trips (it's hard to get vacation for both of us right now).
One benefit of that is change/cancel flight via SWA is the easiest. It's basically risk free. It's so easy to make changes.
But.... I'm surprised SWA hasn't tried to create a more expensive version to sort of compete with the AMEX. $250 but you get free wifi, A-list, and more drink tickets? That's marginal costs to them and they can create stickier credit card customers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still don't know how to embed twitter.
To be honest, that ended about as good as that could have ended.

B&E doesn't have enough good content to pull that off. Half of their shows is Bucky dicking around with random thoughts and Erin trying to spin jokes off of them. I don't think you could fill numerous hours of a call in show about one school. The SEC has 14 inbred fanbases and schools of lesser education as subject matter, not to mention the rampant cheating.
Agreed but it's not like the content on a random weekday morning is any better.

You can't? In AppleTV I just click once on the clickpad if a program is on, and it stops. A timebar appears at the bottom. Plus I can maneuver up/down by time (i.e. skip commercials). It's kind of rough (not fine-tuned) but once you learn how to work the remote, it does a pretty good job.
They just recently added DVR to Roku so maybe that is getting rolled out later.

Not a beer snob but Alstadt was sampling at HEB and I enjoyed all 3 of them. I bought a sixer of the Kolsch and it's a great summer beer.

Nicollette Sheridian (Knots Landing, Desperate Housewives) fits in the genre.
And wood.
This was here at age 48.

Maybe comedies took a turn for the worse when the people who buy tickets (youth) were no longer laughing at what used to be funny.

It's great for SEC Network because he is just simulcasting a radio show every day for what 3 hours? The production costs are small and he's got "live" content.
I wonder if LHN ever thought of simulcasting Bucky & Erin in the morning?

This is the end was good but had some slow spots. Michael Cena was hilarious.
Keanu was really good.
Nice Guys was good but not as much as a comedy vs This is the end and Keanu though.
Increase in marketing calls on cell phone? How to get rid of this?
in Can You Help Me With This?
Posted
Within the last few months, I have seen a big-time increase in marketing calls to my cell phone. Like 6 per day.
Anyone else?
And I can one-by-one "block" these callers but it seems that they have a bunch of other similar numbers to call from. How can I get off of these lists???
