  1. FWIW, looks like the Tahoe only gets them in the front, rear still uses the AirLift shocks, which also fail but are a lot cheaper.

Disregard all of this if you have the regular hydraulic absorbers.

I assume these are associated with the magnetic ride control option?
  2. Kinda late to this party, but yes I recently bought a Tahoe. I love it, what are you wondering specifically?

Not much now since I bought one on Monday. I think it’s great.

If you read all the reviews the journalists seem to like the expedition better. I drove it and it’s nice for sure but I preferred the Tahoe. I know they are about to change but I really like the looks of the current gen.

  3. It's straight from her mouth. She came out and said she used to do that when she was a stripper. She's a piece of shit. And it's funny how so many people out there are actually coming to her defense and justifying this behavior.

    Not the least bit surprising
  4. So, we had our 4th band practice and I realized something.  A person really needs to practice standing up.  If I were talking to a new guitarist, I would express upon them the importance of using the fret markers on the top of the neck and not on the fretboard.   Plus, the angle of the fretting hand changes quite a bit so my wrist and 'tennis elbow" has been really sore lately.  It is fun to play around on the couch or a stool, but standing up gives playing a whole new twist.

Totally agree. I figure out sitting down but practice standing up.
  5. My young and stupid story re Creed:
I got really into Nirvana in 6th grade ('96 or so), and had this instinctive "fuck the other grunge bands" mentality, instead preferring the bland Nirvana rip offs (Bush and Silverchair in particular).  I especially disliked Pearl Jam for reasons I still can't articulate.  I remember hearing "My Own Prison" while working in our farm shop and thinking "damn, this new Pearl Jam rocks - maybe I was wrong about these guys".  I deserve all the possible shit for this.

Eventually I walked it all off, and went through a massive PJ stage in college.  Still love them, and probably listen to them more as an adult than the other big grunge era bands, although I developed big appreciations for the others (Soundgarden and AIC in particular) as well.

6th grade. Not expected to have really any wisdom at that age.
  6. I will admit though, that while I definitely thought Creed was cheesy, I never put them in the category of say Nickelback or Limp Bizkit. That’s a whole different level imo.

I don’t particularly care for his style, but I can dig Tremonti. Maybe that was the difference.

  7. Articles like this make me want to blow my fucking brains out.
I like the tax calculation. Just a 40% calculation. No deductions or credits. Just bullshit. Especially with high property taxes and kids just to name two details. Blatant inaccuracy.
Not maxing out 401k contribution. All numbers contain this magical wizardry of ending in even zeros.
Everything else is inflated and you can blame yourself. No one NEEDS to drive a Nazi sled (BMW).
Take a hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why you’re so god damned stupid and why you pay $18k ito charity and bitch about your situation.
My personal favorite: Source financialsamurai.com - Some hack bullshit website that drives click bait just like this dickless article.
The only saving grace is that they have life insurance so if the parents get hit by a bus, they’ll have a shot at being raised by someone intelligent.

    Quality rant.
