  1. There's a bunch of good ones that come to mind: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Tool, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, NIN, RATM, Toadies, Dream Theater, Muse, Deftones, Radiohead, Weezer, Janes Addiction, Collective Soul, Blackberry Smoke, CCR, Etc etc etc....

My pick out of that list would be Alice In Chains over Nirvana only because I like their music better.

  2. I'm not big on celebrations in general. My last company used to always use the example of "hey when we do something good we need to spike the ball and roll around in the end zone". I get that lots of people like this and as the leader I was supposed to encourage and be involved in this stuff.

I told them I'd rather just take the earl Campbell approach and hand the ball to the ref and jog back to the sideline. My aggy and SMU bosses never really appreciated it.

  3. I agree 100% on compassion, but I think that's on the parents not the school.

The real question that needs to be answered, and has been mentioned a few times already, is why are we as a society turning out so many more high school aged serial killers than we have in the past.

If we don't figure it out we will end up with highly unpopular solutions because no one likes anything that's been proposed.

  4. In Germany you start drinking beer at 16 and you see titties on broadcast TV and in print media regularly. Porn is just as available, and prostitution is legal. They also play the same video games we do. The one thing they don’t do is coddle children, they promote self-reliance and responsibility way earlier than we do.

This. We have some neighbors from Switzerland. Their kids are 10x more self sufficient that everyone else. It's hilarious and sad at the same time to watch everyone else struggle with this.

  5. So I played one of the aged VOS Les Paul pearly gates reissues on Saturday. I think they only made 50 of the aged ones. It was pretty sweet. Did not make me sound any more like the Reverend though.

    Dude was asking $12k.

I think that's the second most expensive guitar I've ever played behind some $22k tele I played at Gruhn until I saw the price tag and quickly put it back.

  6. Still debating Tempe in September, it might be a little warm for that game.

You'll have a great time in 2019, unless MSU goes full on DiBiaggio when hiring a new President & AD and tries to dismantle their intercollegiate sports program

Tempe will be hot AF in September.

My rule of thumb is no pre-November games at Sun Devil stadium.
