    Sonos thread

The app being so easy to use and seamless is what made it so great. That the speakers just worked, their connectivity, etc - it’s all software. Their hardware is good, but their software is what makes them shine. I’m not trying to slight the HW, but so long as you have enough storage & RAM and made good design choices, you can software your way out of anything. Ands it’s not just the app, but the firmware on the hardware. That stuff all has to be bulletin proof. It makes me wonder how you guys use your systems. I find the app and other app integration to be invaluable. Also, any Home Assistant users here? Been playing around with better integration of Sonos, wanted to see if anyone had thoughts.
  2. I'm sure Spurs are going to make things interesting, but they get the lowest seeded team in the competition at home to get a bye in the KO stage. So looking at the standings: At 14th, that means they can't be jumped by any team currently sitting on 10 points. That mean theoretically the lowest Spurs can fall is 15th place, so they are guaranteed no worse than being seeded in the playoff round. Get a draw, they can't fall any lower than 12th place - might just be enough for the round of 16 Win - advance to the round of 16
  3. I also put a request to Tottenham to move all of their updates, but especially game updates to Bluesky. Given the club's history, this should be a real no brainer.
  4. I mean seriously, the last decade has really tapped into the spaces that a lot of people have kept hidden for obvious reasons. Now that they are publicly ok to show in some crowds does it really shock you that people are trying to make that crowd bigger? Does it really shock you that some guys on here that were kind of shitty when it came to regular stuff take up for these guys when they finally let it spill out?
  5. One last thing, until he figures it out, can we be done with the Miljevic experience?
  6. Well it's a win
  7. Tired legs. Did you see the defender "jump" it was like 2" off the ground.
  8. Christ, this game is going to run the guys into the ground.
  9. Well I hope this puts it away. I will say this, Son looked tired on BOTH goals. He looks gassed now.
  10. That was the problem - our defenders were behind the ball and kept them onsides.
  11. So I gotta say this was the first time I ever came out of camp cupcake with some good feelings. I think we saw the emergence of some players (namely Agyemang) and some guys really step up with the chance (see Luna). I said it before, it's funny what a little bit of a step up in coaching will do for this team. What we've seen in the past 2 days is a sign that our program is moving in the right direction. I think a lot has to be done to get the rot out of the system, because while I could bag on Berhalter, the real issue is that our federation is still happy with the status quo, until that goes away, we are not going to make "that jump". But maybe this shows there is a way.
  12. UGH. Just more keeping our front line guys out there.
  13. How the hell does that get past VAR? The keep ... Oh, ok, NOW it's going to VAR. Yeah, this is what VAR is supposed to clean up up. This is the keeper making a legit play on a ball. If anything, HE is the protected one.
  14. Yeah, it's a live table, I pulled up the table on Sky Sports to see the pregame standings. I would like 1 more goal then get as many of our front line guys out of there.
  15. Good to see us getting goals early and putting this away, hopefully quick. The win should move Spurs up into the top 8. But there will be work to stay in the top 8. Top 24 advance to the KO stage 1-8 wait for the winners of match-ups between 9-24. This win would guarantee advancing, but not in the top 8.
  16. What a save.
  17. I'm in as best i can be.
  18. I'm still annoyed he was one of my RAs at Simkins.
  19. The dude is losing his mind. If this makes sense to you, please explain it to me like I'm 5.
  20. And ... When you gotta go, don't squeeze the Charmin.
  21. It really does. That Harris picture - she's making a point, using a pointing gesture that she moves to a "taking off" type gesture. There is no heart touch, none of that. It wasn't a Nazi salute. I am not clicking on Twitter links anymore. People have put it out the comparison to Hitler vs Elon and how alike they are. That's enough for me.
  22. Yeah, the Twitter infrastructure because of their hardcore mode has gotten so damn slow.
