Really sad about coach Price, as others have said he was possibly the only likable human being on that staff.
I will also say that I'm completely prepared for at least one Texags poster to attribute a poor recruiting season this year to the lack of TP's bbq at the pool party.
If they can blame a loss on Tupac, you sure as hell know they can blame bbq for not landing recruits.

Gerry mentioned today he is kinda perplexed as to why aggy is recruiting so poorly in state this cycle. He said they are doing much better with the out of state kids they are bringing in.
When you're running a con, you can't continue to hit the same area or word gets around.
If you hit new, less exposed areas, you'll have more success grifting targets who don't know any better.

How is Texas ever going to compete with that?
I've heard we take recruits to steakhouses that don't even put the A1 and Heinz 57 out for you. We must be too cheap, I guess.

Maybe. But I bet even the Fiero owners post pictures of their paychecks too.

I really do like the “Putins been losing on purpose and saving the good army” fanfic.
Mack is saving the real offense for OU.

When the Taliban version of Milton has had enough, watch out. There's a damn good chance he's doing more than setting the building on fire.

I expect Texags to react well to this given that they were talking about how Coleman (the WR from Sparty that transferred there a couple weeks ago over Aggy) was scared of competition because they landed that D2 all conference guy
Also because they already hate Lane so much, but he just keeps pissing in Jimbo's Cheerios.

Oh I missed the bonus question…
most defenses kind of do but they are more situation dependent than the offfense. Most DCs have an idea what you are going to run on certain situations. (I.e. first downs are 80% bubble screen to the boundary..shout out GDGD) so they will be in a certain call on first downs for that. They also have formation specific coverages or blitzes. (I.e. 3rd and long with a 3x1 formation) the defense will have practiced this and should have an idea how you like to attack that situation. It’s MUCH harder to be a DC as the offense holds all the cards.
I swear gdgd could've called a fake bubble screen and scored a TD on the first play of every OU game for his last few seasons here. Every single person in the cotton bowl, even casual fans by that point, knew what was coming on that first play. And still he ran it without fail.
Just to be an ass, Stoops should've lined up the entire defense, including the dline, directly in front of that receiver. I'd bet money Davis still would've called it. He was simply incapable of not starting that game with that play.

What does it say about their WR room that they're willing to take two D2 WRs?
What's strange and has been pointed out here already, it's one of the more talented positions on their team. I'm not sure about depth, but their starters are good players.
Maybe all of the starters are planning to wear sleeves and get suspended again?

Any reasoning behind that? I’d much rather aggy get those 87’s instead of 95’s.
I love aggy recruiting highly rated players with character issues.
Chris Marshall out front shoulda told ya.

The hypothetical hero. The man who elaborates on the things he might have done in the situation he was never involved with in the first place. Everyone of these imaginary brave citizens should be rewarded with the medal of pretend honor. Remember them. Hold their memory in the highest form of sarcastic reverence. And thank them for all the things they never did.
Is the medal of pretend honor kind of like the plaque of pretend championship?

I'd like to think that solo I would've gone for it, and family in the car I'd be out of there. I don't think you can really know until you're faced with that impossible choice and have to make and almost instinctive decision in a split second under sudden extreme stress.
Anyone judging that driver is nothing more than an internet tough guy unless they've actually lived something like that and made the choice to put their life in danger instead of fleeing.

There is a special clause in the playoff agreement that if Texas wins the big 12 and is set to be voted in by the committee, the system will temporarily revert to using the bcs model so that Oklahoma can be ranked ahead of Texas due to some nonsensical big 12 tiebreaker rule.

Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
in 🤫$9.95🤫

Correct. The most unfair part of all is that no one told the ULL team about Tupac's death, thus giving them a clear upper hand over emotionally devastated aggy.
