If Santa gets elected let's just shut those whole thing down and let Canada and Mexico annex the parts they want.
I'd feel better about Santa than Palin.

I hate Green Day but now I kind of like them. Trey Cool is a good drummer whether you like the band or not. That's pretty much me but dates back to 2016. I'm never going to make any effort to listen to Green Day but there's some things I like about them.

Y'all see this lovely racist asshole in Houston? Here's the story:

Here's the video:
Comments for videos like that are usually turned off for good reason. If you want to be sick to your stomach, read through that shit and see what's getting the upvotes. The guy recording should have turned it off at the right moment and let that dog do the work she clearly wanted to do.

Have they tried hardening the school? Metal detectors, strip searches?
That's a start but if we're serious about preventing gun violence, we need to mount some of these at every entrance.

I’ve come up with a brilliant solution for the US gun problem (in lieu of actually doing something about guns).
Require that to carry, use or otherwise pick up a gun, you must be attired in an English fox hunting outfit. Gun culture would disappear overnight (tops and tails clash with goatees and oakleys), you could instantly recognize who is packing, and it would class up the place a bit.
Bad idea. You're choosing a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. They'd embrace it and we'd be terrorized by freaks in top hats that wouldn't care about how it clashes with goatees and oakleys.

Also, my grandfather was killed before I knew him. Killed by a drunk driver in 1970. I never got to fish with him, or go to a Texas game with him ( he was there which is why I am a diehard). I don’t want cars outlawed. It’s not the cars fault.Sorry to hear about your grandfather. It might have made a difference if drunk driving laws were as strict back then as they are now.

Is that like 72-0 in football?
77-0. Mercy rule in both cases since OU tried not to score for the whole 4th quarter.

You would need to pay more if you cut the safety net, since it would be more expensive.

Truly, the cruelty is the point. I've never seen it more clearly said.

I don't think that anyone is trying to break down teenage sexuality here. If y'all think that carving out parental involvement is a hill worth fighting upon at this stage, I think that you should go for it. Just don't be surprised with the pushback. Social media echo chambers do not reflect real life.
You're really on it. You've got your finger on the pulse of the issue. Never mind Roe is about to be overturned and states are already passing outright bans with no exception for rape or incest. Some are even considering bans on IUDs. Democrats should know that this relentless focus on parental notification won't play with Anastasis and workswithseed come November and we risk losing their votes.

Has the Democratic Party turned the corner finally? Seems like the most Democrat thing to do would have been to write the bill with every compromise imaginable to get a few Republicans to maybe, almost vote for it only to have it go down 49-51. Then the Republicans would call the Dems a bunch of baby killers that had no respect for decorum or compromise.

would be funnier if it was a golden cheeked warbler, only found in Texas, that attacked his Canadian ass
Even though they're not native to Texas, a cassowary or ostrich would be funniest.

I asked where all the women getting locked up for abortions are, then he posted a story about a miscarriage. It was super weird.
They'll start getting locked up once Roe is officially struck down and the states that have outlawed abortion or will soon outlaw abortion impose penalties. Am I being hysterical when I assume that there'll be consequences for breaking these laws? Or that women who have miscarriages will be suspected of getting an abortion?

I remember there being some hope that Clinton would pardon Peltier at the end of his second term.
I first learned of Leonard Peltier from the masterpiece of 90s political hip-hop, Tricks of the Shade by The Goats.

Death cult is exactly right. That guy's truck is no doubt covered in stickers of guns and skulls.

"Deserved punishment"
That's really the wording you wanna go with here?
That's not the wording they want. It's the quiet part said out loud. Get them to talking about it long enough and inevitably they'll throw out words like punishment and consequences.
