Looking for some club purchase advice. My high school aged son is starting to play more golf and is asking for some better clubs as a birthday gift. I don't want to dive in head first but I do want to get him something he can play with to get started that will help him learn to love the game. I was looking at the Callaway Edge set at Costco. Any Pro's or Con's regarding those?
I think CDC or Sark should draw a line in the sand here....just come out publicly and say that we are eager to see what the committee decides, and if they decide that 3 losses prevents a team from making the playoff, then we will adjust our future schedule accordingly.
Powers that be at Belmont need to know the rules and how they are judged and play to those rules. That's it. It's simple.
If the top prize is the win a Championship, then do what it takes to put yourself in the best position to do that. If we don't get in this year, which I don't think we will, then make adjustments in your schedule so you give yourself the best chances here forward.
Yes, generally happy. The little spider arm thingy that spins to pick up dirt keeps coming off so that is annoying, but overall, happy with the purchase and would do so again.
Yes, damaged front fender on our car. Young drivers will do young driver stuff I guess. Scratching the check hurts, but we are going to end up paying one way or another, right?
Thank you for the advice C-man! It is very helpful.
Looking for insights on how to handle a fender bender. If you had a teenage driver that got into a mild fender bender, would you pay the $3000 cash out of pocket to repair the other persons car or would you submit to insurance and pay the deductible? Which way makes more sense?
trying the 5 day free trial of Fubo now. It's not bad. Only catch is that it doesn't have the channels that the family likes. Interface is easy to use and learn.
During recovery, are victims found in groups, or are they usually found 1 by 1? I read a message on X today that seemed to suggest there was a "group" of victims in a certain pile of debris. Trying to get a gauge on what to expect as we move forward. If this is an inappropriate question at this time, please delete.
Dealing with USAA right now. They have detiorated on both ends, bad customer service and not willing to pay. In a big fight with them. Hope you have better luck than I am having.
For those considering USAA for their insurance, I suggest you look around before you go with them. I will be dropping them.
#$E% USAA! Member for over 20 years. Filed hail damage claim on roof. The inspector looked and said yep, new roof. USAA sent approval. 10 days later repealed. Spoke to manager and they were completely 1 sided and didn't want to hear any of it. Shady, shady, shady. Shopping insurance next week. Bottom line, do NOT use USAA!
