  1. Wow, I heard there was some type of a cow and calf thing coming.
  2. Rubio is Gen X by far. This shit might be getting to you. Touch grass.
  3. Some of us want the committee to enforce its own state policies. I would rather play “fun” ball games in the playoffs. The risk/reward for playing those games is heavily against you. Compare our schedule to Notre Dame. No way we shouldn’t be ranked higher but hey, we played a fun game to start the season
  4. And for the 100th time, it makes no sense to play an elite OOC schedule. Any of the posters clamoring for that, would probably be first up to play Russian roulette with six bullets.
  5. Great thoughts. Even if all that happens, we are still not getting into the playoffs.
  6. Yes, it’s almost as if OSU was our “de Sade” moment
  7. Lotta people flying Frontier or coach up in this motherfucker
  8. We'll be able to come back and see our fuckery.. Great Thread!
  9. I think we're in the same ballpark. the immense subjectivity is the area where I believe they get into trouble. "In the new metric, teams will be rewarded for defeating high-quality opponents and they won't be penalized heavily for losing such games. Conversely, teams will have minimal rewards for defeating low-quality teams but will be soundly penalized for losing such games." Questions abound, does Texas get 1.5 for beating AM, 1.25 for OK and Vandy? I'm with you, but if their position is, "lose to a highly ranked ooc foe and you will be slightly penalized", then the risk/reward is against playing those games. And we haven't even gotten to weighting H2H wins/losses or '"game control" in games.
  10. Exactly. I posted that last Tuesday, but emotions here rule the day.
  11. Best case Texas ends up at 11 or 12, and still out. Any CCG team ranked at 10 or better THIS Tuesday is in the playoff. The committee will not deincentivize playing in CCG
  12. I understand your points, however, how do you reconcile your posts versus the committee's stated policies of 1) not penalizing a team for losing to highly ranked ooc opponents. 2) not taking margin of victory into consideration Wisner runs to the end zone instead of going down, 34-17 v. #3. Does that change anything?
  13. Yep. They’re ultimately going to put us at 11 or 12 and we’re still left out.
  14. Unfortunately, he got blowed up in a venezuelan raid.
  15. Well, you've identified a major problem if that's the case
  16. How do you think Tech would fare against tOSU, Georgia, AM, Vandy and Oklahoma if Tech had played them at the dates Texas did?
