  1. Prices spiked after 10am when the daily allotment went on sale, presumably from increased demand from buyers shut out of getting tix through UT (but also very possibly seat geek fuckery).
I waffled on two tickets upper level right behind home plate for $120 each and they were gone after thinking on it for two minutes. Got two a couple of sections over for the same price. They’re now in the $140-$180 range for the same area
GA has been climbing from $65 immediately after the bots/“brokers” bought them up at 10:00:01  (for $10 face value) to $90 half hour ago to $123 now.
There just isn’t a lot of supply right now (seatgeek with only 77 listings—62 with a quantity of 2—so you’re looking at only ~150 total tickets available right now. Definitely a sellers market.
Will see if that changes during the day.

Wow insane. I guess I should have sold my ones for tonight versus giving them to my buddy. He’s going to owe me one for sure.

I get it. TV money fuels it all, but fuck spending hours baking in that heat to watch Texas deep dick two crappy teams. For fucks sake, play those games at night.

Yup, at least give us a drone show for the amount of money we are paying for tickets to watch scrubs.

Regionals this weekend if yall don’t feel like paying for parking I’ll let yall in on a secret park by the cemetery that way less traffic don’t gotta wait a while to get out of a parking garage I mostly park over here cuz it might little bit of walk but good thing is when the game is done it’s not that bad getting out of there!

Sorry, that park is only available for the real ones

  4. Let's go. I'l be skipping out early on Friday for the 1:00 game and then tomorrow's afternoon. Hopefully they take care of business Friday since I can't go to the Sat night game.

the question is how long your current tickets stay locked to you if you don't select them and pay for them right away.  Is there some time limit in which you have to decide or lose them?

I have not selected and as far as I know you don't actually have to complete this process. Doing nothing just auto renews your current seats. It's only if you want to select parking.

Just did my selection. No club seats, not even Terrace Club, available. Well, Longhorn Lounge was available, but I don't really consider that a "club" since there is no conditioned space attached to it, just out of the sun space.

So, for future reference, unless you selection time is in the first two days, you won't get any club seats. If your selection time isn't on the first day, all you'll be left with is Terrace club.

I did move into the West Side Chairback (from baking on the east side - so at least I'll have shade for most games), so I did improve my seats, but still not happy about the club seats not being available.

3 seats in the Terrace Club just opened up FYI.

  7. I jumped in when they opened the Terrace and Touchdown clubs which was 2008 I think. I feel like ticket prices back there were high 300s versus what are now $800 while donation level has only slightly jumped.

I think I saw the east side Texas club with inventory toward the end of last week but it was limited. But the days of moving and adding seats in those club sections seem to be over. I've been in the Terrace Club for quite a while and I think the only move I would want to do would be the Touchdown Club where you get more shade.

  9. Starts next week. And I guess you have the option of not doing anything and it will just renew the same seats correct?

Did anyone confirm what we had heard the other year that if you move seats you are no longer grandfathered into the seat donation? Is that any move at all or just different sections?

Which btw was such a joke since they just decided to raise the ticket prices instead so everyone is still stuck with it.

  10. Soooo.... Elephant in the room.  If Huntmiller didn't pay up front, everyone moved up a spot, yes?  I'm cool either way.  Just curious.

Indeed. Not to put more work on you Big Orange, but is it possible to remove brackets that didn’t pay in case those in the running are trying to hedge?

  11. i'm not showing record of a received payment for huntmiller #1 or #2.  if that is you and you paid your entry fee - please pm me and let me know when and by what method.
i show 54 received payments.  payouts will be:
    1st - $810
    2nd - $486
    3rd - $324
i'll have everyone paid out by thursday or friday of this week.

    Excellent! Thanks for running!

Florida beats Auburn, UH wins it all, and victory is mine.  Florida beats Auburn, Duke wins it all, and I’ll finish third as @Ignatius3 and @kingkoopa6 will tie for first and go to the total points tiebreaker to decide the champion.  Last year, I filled out one bracket (as I’ve always done in any March Madness competition I’ve entered) and finished in second behind @Welshy who entered two brackets.  So, this year I submitted that extra bracket including UH as a possible champion.  Gracias Senor Welshy.

I'd take this. I have that scenario in another big pool I'm in and was on a path to if I didn't get creative picking Bama over Duke. But I think I still finish in the top 3. If Gator beats Duke then I suppose I can settle for 2nd in this one.

i believe that is correct.  the 7th game was "free" last year.  80.00 bump minus one game is the double whammy.

back in the day when there was an actual price on the ticket, season ticket cost was basically one game lower than if you bought all game tickets separately.

the ticket price is going to keep going up, 1) offsets the grandfathered LHF seat donation and 2) going to push against the secondary market some IMO.

Well thank goodness! Del Conte also mentioned that the athletic department took “4,000 tickets away from brokers and gave them back to you all” for football.

But you still have plenty of new donors that will pay a higher donation fee so why take it out of every fan that's dealt with the ups and downs. Maybe it's the only game in town and the population is big enough but I would feel at some point foundation members might need to feel like there is some benefit.

On another note, how does the ticket website work for season tickets? I saw a group of them in the upper deck on the home side that I liked, but it said they're $600 for the season plus a $500-600 donation. So idk how this silly thing works. Do I pay only 600 or am I having to pay 1100-1200? Does the donation money get you tickets for the OU game as well?
