Trump and FIFA are made for each other. Not only will FIFA not push back on Trump, I bet Trump finds a way to pull a billion from FIFA.

edit: to be clear, a billion for trump, not for the US.

Yeah, I know. FIFA is as corrupt (or worse) than Trump. They're a match made in heaven.

  2. He said, “They dropped the case.” What was the case?

Ya I’ve seen that phrase mentioned a few times as well, clueless as to what it means.

Pretty sure it means their immigration case. These people are trying to play the immigration game by the rules. They come in to the court where the cases, which give them certain rights (I know — what rights?) are summarily dismissed freeing ICE to arrest them when they no longer have these protections from their cases being in progress.

(Or did I miss some sarcasm?)

  3. He is having difficulty achieving most of his goals, particularly when it comes to policy.

Where he’s going, there is no need for policy. Other than he gets what he wants. Whenever he wants. And fuck all the rest.

Anybody who can contribute anything at all against this fucker shouldn’t bow out until he’s dead.

Oh, they'll get around to throwing his ass in jail at some point -- if things get as bad as they can.

What's the story on the Bomb Factory in Dallas?  Is balcony worth the extra cost?

Yes. With a caveat or two. What show?

I’ve never spent extra for the balcony. In fact, I’ve never considered it.

Downstairs can be an absolute shit-show for a packed show. Caamp last week would’ve been miserable on the lower level. The crowd downstairs can get “chatty” and will ruin a show if you’re a little further back and not with the die-hands closer to the stage.

It’s also nice to have a chair in between opening act and headliner. (Fuck, I’m getting old.) I’m also 5-10 and seems like the majority of concert-goers are 6-foot and up so you’ve got to bob and weave at times to get a good view if there’s no “grade” to the floor and there’s not at the Bomb Factory.

So I’ll leave it at this — if it’s a show that you absolutely do not want to risk a bad experience, spring for upstairs. If you don’t care if there are a bunch of college frat kids around you talking during the show (depends on the show for sure), then maybe it’s not that big of a deal. The good news is there is not a bad upstairs seat in the place though I’d say front row on the left (opposite the “suites”) are the best upstairs seats.

Last week's Casting episode was fucking hilarious.

Just saw this one last night. I fucking lost my shit when they went down to Quinn’s office to get her take on the “casting” and she said she never really thought of Kool-Aid as a “black person’s drink.” They all sighed with relief and then violently recoiled when she said it was instead more of a “poor person’s drink.” Outfuckingstanding.

Federal Tort Claims Act is your path:

I mean, that is, if you believe that laws that apply to and bind the Regime and those it favors still exist.

Spoiler: they do not.  We are the Democratic People's Republic of Laws for Thee not for Me.

Yup. There was a story on the TV news up here in Dallas about a private citizen whose handymen was wanted by the police for some reason. He holed up in her house and there was a police standoff. The standoff ended with the cops taking him alive but causing $60K in property damage to the woman’s home (fence, windows, etc). It took her years to get the damage paid by police. That’s when things were somewhat sane. We’re getting close to THE PURGE being a reality in this grand old US-of-A.

and here's USDOJ's Table of Authorities to support their pleading. (A table of authorities is a list found in legal briefs that outlines all the legal authorities cited throughout the document, including cases, statutes, and secondary sources. It serves as a roadmap for judges and other readers to quickly identify the sources that support the arguments presented, making it easier to follow the legal reasoning behind the brief.)
