Yeh. Was probing the same. Turned out okaybut still not sure what was going on.
Cooked two briskets for the first time. Did one Choice and one Choice Angus, both from restaurant depo. Could actually tell a difference on the Angus. Fat rendered better and was more flavorful. -
Anyone ever have a brisket get up to 200 and then the temp start dropping a couple degrees? I watched it for about 45 min and then pulled it. Should I have waited? I'm still getting a feel for doness so am using temp as a guide.

Thanks. It's Tall Fescue so I'll be seeding. Going to try the dietary supplements. Looking at reviews they seem to work for about half of dogs. And to the second part of your question about patching, that just depends on the type of grass. If St. A, you can either drop new sod or just toss down some good dirt and let it grow back in. If something that can be seeded, then there’s probably a patch kit (seed with compost/fertilizer) you can find at any of the big box stores.
In the end, as long as the dog pees in the same area like most dogs do, you’re not going to win this battle without constant maintenance.
Hosing it down definitely works but as you said, hard to catch every one.

Any advice on female dog pee burning spots in newly sodded backyard? Do any of the dietary supplements work? What's the best way to patch the holes?
I've tried training her to go in one place but have been unsuccessful.

I fugured it out. The Dot has an audio out so I just plugged in the old stereo speakers. The Alexa app has a multiroom music feature that lets you group tge devices under an identifier. I grouped the indoor echo with the outdoor dot connected to the speakers. "Play music everywhere" plays music inside/out.
One frustrating thing is you cant put a device in multiple groups or create a group with a single device. So I cant have "play music outdoors" and "play music indoors" plus "play music everywhere. Not a huge deal since you can just say the command to the nearest echo which will usually be the one you want to play.
I went to best buy for the first time in lik3 5 years. Cool that they have a whole smart home section. Plan to do more with my own house.

Have a simple question but thought a general thread on this topic would be good.
My parents have an old stereo and speakers on their back porch. They have an echo inside, in the room adjacent to the porch. Right now theyre moving the echo outside when they want to listen to it outside.
Id like to replace the speakers outside and set it up where the new speakers are connected to the echo. The echo would stay inside but Id like an additional dot or something outside to control the echo and move the music indoors/outdoors or both. What do I need to do this?
